December and January and a little bit of February, they spread out the deductions to just under £200 a month over X months. Will be glad when they are over!! as now I have even less child tax as he got his lockdown promotion, so I am £30 odd a week worse off with them for that on top of the other! In one hand, out the other, it seems. I am a leaky bucket.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Today I am grateful for dd discovering that she loves skateboarding, for a dry day to be out in the park, for getting things done (mostly shortening 2x trousers and sewing name tags into dd's new school items), for dh doing a food shop, for spending less time on mindless tech.

Brought food in, spent lots of time moving peppers, chillies and the odd tomato plant from the polytunnel and onto various windowsills. Weather did not improve until early evening (had to have the light on for reading, sewing and using the laptop). Since I need to more or less empty the polytunnel to put the cover back on, I'm thinking about using it for visitors on Saturday. It's 3 m long and 2 m wide so will fit comfortably in the paved area at the side of the house, but there will not be room for people to go round the sides or come further in. Visitors (only expecting 2 at a time) can sit at the gate end and mum and I can sit at the yard end (we will use the patio doors as the main house door will be blocked off by the polytunnel).
I'm very tired and my room is a mess. I've taken the dining table and brought it in here to accommodate another row of plants, I've turned a set of drawers 90 degrees so they are backed up to the window and rearranged my cube boxes so I can fit more plants on the edge of the drawers. Just need to work out the easiest way to stash the remaining stuff so that I have room to sleep without having to start from scratch in the morning.
DS3 contacted me as the electoral register form has arrived. I've said to keep me on it at my house (still counting being here as only temporary but will check with the council about mum's council tax bill/ loss of single person discount). I raised the possibility of him taking over the bills (suggested it would help build his credit score for when he wants to buy / rent somewhere and needs to start budgeting etc). He wasn't enthusiastic but offered me more 'rent' in advance (apparently he applied for and got the self employed grant, both times and told another friend about it). So he's paid up until next May and I might not need to go and put money in the bank (will have to at some point but it's less urgent).
Today I am grateful for getting things done' for things working out quite well - will this move this way, yes. will it move with 5 boxes on top, yes. Only one empty box hit me, another fell but sailed past me (that was 7 boxes and multiple random items on the drawers originally), for knowing I've worked hard. Just work out how I make space to sleep in.

Hi this might sound weird but I'm grateful for creativity and for making things. Instead of thinking - oh I could do that ... I now do it, and it always involves more time and a bit of logistics than one thinks. Very interesting learning. I feel I had forgotten, and now I ma slowly recharging my creative mojo - feels a bit selfish, but hopefully it will eventually benefit students as well. Not doing good on NSD days to be honest. Hoping term time will bring opportunity to shop down.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

Morning all,
It brightened your here yesterday for most of the day so got some washing out. Spent lots as needed to do the food shop, get petrol and meet friend for dinner as it’s nearly the end of the holidays and we hadn’t seen each other except at school. Today should be a quiet day with a walk with friends and plenty of school work to prep for our return next week. Already made a start on the house jobs so will crack on with that. Also might sign up to a new gym, it’s £20 less than the last one and my friend has invited me to go to classes with her so that might mean I go more as my last gym buddy went awol after the first few weeks.LBM = 07/09/13 Debt = £13339 (100% cleared)

Yet another awful day. It's been pouring down all day and doesn't look like stopping.
And to my shame yet another lazy day. Really have not be doing the things that I should. Must do better.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.6 -

Evening all,
No NSD here as had to buy a light bulb - thought I had a spare but couldn't find it anywhere. Got a few household jobs done. Now just in the queue waiting to give blood. Bless them they're running late but they work so hard to get everybody seen and are always so lovely. Cheated and bought chips for dinner as I'm using the excuse that I need the extra calories as I'm losing my blood...7
