Fmess - we're 'lucky' in that we're a small school, so only slightly staggered start + end, and breaks + lunch are all taken within the usual timings. KS3 stay in rooms mostly + teachers move; KS4 and 5 are separate bubbles and they + staff move between certain rooms. Each year group has a certain entrance/exit point to the building. It's not much different for me from what I've been doing as a part-timer, but it'll be a shock to some full timers who are used to having 'their' room! And, of course, there's always the chance of having to teach classes remotely - either they are at home or I am!

Reminds me of Holly from Red Dwarf... disembodied head on a screen, and all that...
Ha ha yes I am not looking forward to having to work/teach at home again but it will be what it will be.
I am used to having my own lab so The big difference will be teaching in classrooms and not labs and so not doing practicals.

Fmess - I do feel for all of you science bods. I will have one double lesson in a lab with my y11s, and was shocked that I can have no food or drink in there :D What about my coffee. And my water. And my chocolate bar...???
Ha ha we would be shot if we ate or drank in any classroom, definitely frowned upon in our school. They have conceded to water being allowed for staff and students though, but it must be in a cup/bottle with a lid as once some students put staples and unknown tablets into a teacher’s cup of tea!

Tad wet and windy here today turtles.
NSD today, seem few and far between lately.
Going to roast chicken for tea, so that's me staying in, not spending and sandwiches taken care of next couple of days.
Did a decent walk, well hurdling yesterday there were so many stiles.  So won't feel guilty if I don't go out trotting tonight. Grass cut as well.
    Grateful for
    Having my own office

Hmm, I take it now is not the time to 'out' my dh for pouring a large jar of dried locusts into a supply teacher's handbag?
He never did! (She says trying not to giggle)

Been really wet and windy here. Glad I got all the washing done yesterday and the ironing is all done and put away. Really have to go out tomorrow as I've run out of salad stuff and some fruit and I must post my friend's birthday card. I've been really brave and booked a hairdresser's appointment for 15 September.

The older of the two blonde bombshells isn't very well. She has been coughing since she got up this morning. Her elder brother (he is 21 and was looking after her this morning) decided to keep her off school. Think it's just a cold but you can't be too careful. Just off the check how she is.
Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.

It was a very strict Christian Brothers school, and she was a  young  female supply teacher.
