Oooh, I seem to remember lots of shiny satin and shoulder pads and that froufie hairstyle they all had like Farrah Fawcett. I was more of a Manimal girl I think, and Battlestar Galactica.

Thanks guys most of his friends and connections knows, he was just thinking he might be able to plan for not having any. They are very few but quite vicious when he has a seizures, so it's just devastating. But then maybe thats all in all just what put me in such a bad mood today, I thought I was just sulking over work, but in a way this is much worse as it probably won't go away completely.
Grateful for son being ok and usually responsible and taking his condition into account.
Grateful I know that it will eventually stop raining!Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

NSD No 13 (yesterday and today)
Washing and ironing (the Boy's and ours) all done and ours put away. Bedding changed, washed and ironed. Soup made for dinner tonight. Managed to dispose of quite a few broken things, packaging and other assorted items that are of no use to anyone in the bin without Himself catching me (hee hee!!). Potted up some mint for a friend who, like me, has taken to growing things in lockdown and is stumbling around as well because she doesn't have a clue either. But she has managed to grow tomatoes and peppers. I am impressed.
Tidied out my wardrobe and, unfortunately, caught sight of myself in the mirror. Truly, truly depressing! I seriously have to loose a lot of weight not just to look better but because I can now visualise the effect this is having on my health. Honestly, I felt like crying that I've let it get to this stage. It's going to take a long time to shift this but I HAVE to do it. About three stone I reckon. I'm trying not to think about how long it will take and just get on with it. People say they don't see it but they must. All around my stomach and waist. I know what to do. I just need the willpower.
Anyway, enough negativity. Have a good evening.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.5 -
Purplefairy have dm'd you details.
Ditty really sorry to hear about ds, must be really frustrating for him, it sounds like he has a great support network with you.
Yesterday wasn't a NSD, bought a book for a friend's baby shower and also won an item on ebay. It's a mixing bowl from le creuset, was half the price of a brand new one. My mixing bowl was one of the casualties of my recent washing up disasters so it was a need, however I could've got a cheaper one so I have been naughty.
Also paid £250 off the car debt, want to get it under £3,000 by the end of the year. A few years ago I would've panicked at the thought of that but I'm in a good place now and I know I can do it. Plus it was a MASSIVE splurge so it's only right I pay back what I borrowed! Penance for my sins hehe.

Today was not another NSD as I had to send the Purple Chocolate Bar( half the size of a paving slab) to Swiss land for s-i-l for her birthday..I have a massive amount of cardboard due to the arrival of the 2 armchairs, so I have spent a merry afternoon making cardboard boxes for my 1KEA cube units. 6 made so far (one unit full) and another 2 made complete with lids. I could do nothing about the amount of packaging that came, but most of it is going to be reused and repurposed before it ever sees recycling. The kids are AMAZED at my wombling. I have enough cardboard to make about 10 more full size 25cm x 25 x 25. It saves buying them, and I might make some smaller ones for the gifts belonging to the festival of December-mayhem that I have not yet bought anything for.Anyway, it kept me out of shops, and out of the kitchen, lunch was gnocchi with spinach and mushrooms, supper was a biryani which was gorgeous. All ridiculously cheap and mostly ys.Right, I want to do some more boxes tonight, so I will love you and leave you, stay safe lovely Turtles, you are Awesome and Amazing and your positivity is Appreciated. So before it gets too Ses4me Street, Adios!4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!
