Miserable wet day here today but I was a bit more productive. Did the Boy's washing, hung it out, had to take it back in five minutes later when the heavens opened. It's now upstairs drying, Hopefully get it ironed tomorrow. Having the remainder of chicken for dinner tonight. It didn't look that big but there is loads left. Made stock as well. That will have to go in the freezer for now but might make soup later on. Got a bit of a meal plan for the rest of the week which includes lots of fruit and veg and hopefully not anything too fattening.
Other than that another quiet day.
Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.4 -
And the shambles continues with A level grades - I feel for those students who were offered a place on and then lost it due to lowered grades and now have got those grades again - what happens if that place has since gone in clearing? Poor students (and families) - the strain of the past few days doesnt bearvthinking about
Today I have finished cleaning/ painting our BTL ready for it to have pictures taken tomorrow. No exercise, but will ensure 10k steps achieved (currently at 6k)
Tesc0 shop done - just at the time the YS items were being marked down for a second time, so got some nice burgers, chicken breasts, veg and some other stuff - yippee! Also got 4 protein yoga for free and 2 blocks of cheese for half price courtesy of shopping apps - whoop!
Unexpectedly sunny, so shall hang washing out which was on whilst I was out - was expecting to have to use heated airer.
Thankful for DS1 settling in his new uni house, that DS2 is much better today (poorly yesterday), for unexpected sun, for ys items.

Hi Sorry I'm slightly not here but I am now back to work and have just had a right panic over my new timetable. It just made me cry I'm teaching 3 different groups at the same time online, the students are getting a lot less contact time, and I don't have enough hours to not have to have other work. But my lessons are spread out over 5 days.
I Want to look for other work, but I have no idea what direction to look in. And obviously now is not time.
Anyways sorry for rant.
I am still grateful for having resolved a smaller conflict at home.
PS @crazy_cat_lady maybe you can find a small wall mounted oil or electric heater! It probably doesen't need to be set to a high setting, as it's a fully sort of room!Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

Ellie - Congratulations.
Grateful for:
Dealing with a frog. Got the door handle of my front door sorted by a locksmith. Only paid £20, should have been more but he said he could not justify asking for more considering what little he had to do. Saved £45.
Going for a walk this morning.
Finishing another book.
Having a lovely bath.
Had a conditional offer for a voluntary role. A few things have to be sorted out, eg DBS.Frugal Living Challenge 2025 Mortgage free as of 1st August 20135 -
Mothernerd I will have to pay attention next time I break something (hopefully not for a while) and see whether there's something wider bothering me. I thought it was just because I hate washing up
Went horse riding yesterday, used my new gel pad and it was a lifesaver in terms of improving my hip and back pain. It was pricey but I'm really glad I bought it now. Then went and did my volunteering so was a long, tiring day full of horses, hay and poo shovelling! But it was a NSD which is good. I'll be leaving this volunteering place to go elsewhere in September so I'll be a bit sad.
Been a bit of a full on day at work, have massive safeguarding concerns over a boy I'm working with and just have a terrible feeling about the entire situation. Try to separate work and home but it's difficult sometimes and I have a tendency to worry about the kids in my down time.
Anyway, today I'm grateful for my house rabbits, who are just too adorable; spinach and ricotta pizza for dinner and a nice walk after work.7 -
Today I am grateful for my workout, for seeing some friends, for good coffee, for some beautiful flowers in the garden, for time with dd, for my mum's care home closing to visitors as a precautionary measure, for my sister being able to visit mum twice recently.

lcc86 house rabbits aww love bunnies.Well woke up this morning, in a bad mood, sore throat, migraine feeling and tired. Got in my car, left the window open a fair bit, anyhow soggy bottom and back before finding a waterproof to throw over it. Bosses not in the best of moods after a meeting not going their way. Other problem ,was being usual chatty self to someone who lives nearby, his father fading away fast. Now put a note though my door asking me out for meal or drink with kisses ! He doesn't seem to have many friends about but I really not sure I want to go. I could do a coffee after work? Yes or No. Feel bad either way.Driveway looking better now it's all level, even though just a pile of sand there at moment. Bricks arriving tomorrow. Just say Boss guy is cute I know why I signed up immediately hehe. Why doesn't he ask me out!Grateful forWether original yes grannie thing, with soft centres.Clean lounge, blitzed it last night after popcorn shower on SundayDry at the moment here.LBM 13039 1.1.13 Now £0 Finally Debt FreeMortgage free Oct 2019:)EFund/savings £25000 10/11/225
