Hi am grateful for both boys having gone to gym - so have an hour at home alone. And in particular as it's oldest first time after a year of an operation and other things. So great motivation by youngest who's a bit of a gym-bro!
Lovely Friday, time to do some work on my creative reboot - not much happening yet except for extensive diary - it is reminding me of my love of writing.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

Delivery arrived but unfortunately the two things I really wanted are missing (not available). Slight revision of the meal plan called for but not a huge problem. If this situation has taught us anything it's that you've got to be flexible/inventive. So chicken wings and sweetcorn instead of pork chops.
Not a lot happening here. Think I've been a bit lazy. I'm finding it a bit difficult to keep motivated but I'm sure I'm not alone in that. Still you have to be grateful for what you have and I have lots to be grateful for. I haven't been posting my gratitudes but that's because I am truly thankful for the situation I find myself in. A roof over my head, plenty of food, no worries about money, relatively healthy and a lovely partner and son (and wider family). So much luckier than a lot of people. The little niggles in my life are really unimportant and fixable in the grand scheme of things.
Hope you are all safe, well and have a great weekend.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.6 -
NSD today - 11/20.
Grateful for:
Having lavender oil for aromatherapy burner.
Booked a float for floatation tank in September. Had a free pass.
Had a little declutter, somethings were binned or put into recycling.
Booked an eye test for later on this month. I need a new prescription as my eyesight has changed.

You put it so well.Today I am grateful that it is much cooler (by about 13 degrees!), for enjoying my gym visits, for dd sleeping much better, for dropping off some bits at the local ch shop, for our local sainz having gf/df breadsticks in again (after several years of having to hunt them down in other branches...).NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!6

Congratulations Calling. I've done two loads of washing and line dried them (all the pillowcases again and the sheet and cover). Cooler outside and lots done there. It's that time of year when I plant stuff in anything useable, including a laundry basket lined with weed suppressant fabric to stop the soil leaking out. Lots of bits of tidying, some potting on and then watered everything - filled 10 x 2 l bottles, placed them all in an old toy box balanced on mum's walker and walked round watering stuff. Moved some larger planters using my dolly truck (DS2 returned it after he'd moved - he's only had it about 2 years).
Yesterday was not fun. I think a rat has been in the shed. It had eaten some of the wild bird food ( extra holes in the sides) and made a small nest by ripping into the toilet rolls and left droppings. So all the toilet rolls are now in my room (only 3 binned) which meant more shuffling things round, I filled a 20 l plastic container with dried mealworms (had to find somewhere else to put the things that were already in it) and another smaller container and have brought all the seeds and nuts inside until I can order more containers. I don't think it had been in there very long (may be living under the shed) as the nest corner was only slightly wet (guessing by how wet the cat's litter tray used to get). Think it got in by the door - a small part of the base was scratched out (very clean, no dirt at all and given how dry everything is, soil would be blowing around and dirtying the wood. Apparently they only need a half inch space to squeeze through and metal is the best preventative. May repurpose a piece I dug out of the garden and cover the scratched part with it, and make sure to do the bottom fastener on the door as well as the top one.
Today I am grateful for getting a lot done (shower and bathroom window frame got done and lots of little bits) and for recognising when I had reached my limit (lots of aches and twinges but mostly able to move), for the weather being a little cooler and for a visit from a youngish relative and her children (put a chair for mum under the shade of the tree and we talked through the gate). My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage7 -
