Next four week budget planned today and the weekly food delivery arrived. Lots of fruit and veg and shouldn't need anything from the butcher this week but I am planning to walk to a fishmonger a few miles away next week to stock up on fish. I have joined the old style weight loss group for some support to shift the vast amount of pounds I now realise has to go for the sake of my health.
Still looking after my skin and I think there is a difference but maybe that's just wishful thinking.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.6 -
Hugs to you Tonisfriend and your friend.
Managed a NSD yesterday, just busy with work. Today I've had a spendy day but all planned, bought lots of stuff for the rabbits in bulk as it saves so much in the long run. Also bought some new hinges and some paint for the bedroom cupboards. Why do people insist on painting over hinges and making them look rubbish?!
Working tomorrow covering court duty. If nobody is arrested overnight I get paid to stay home (praying it's a quiet night!) But we'll see.
Payday on Monday so can finalise September's budget. Can't believe it's almost September! The weather the last few days has left me feeling - dare I say it - slightly festive5 -
The nights have started to draw in fast since Wednesday haven't they? Not quite ready to be getting my fa-la-la-la-la on yet, Hallowe'en first!

I have a veg stew on the menu for tomorrow Apple, it is the weather for it - it is blowing a gale here and there is still a gap somewhere between my bedroom window and the brickwork on the ouside, so it thinks it is a gazoo. My bedroom window is still haunted. Wooooooooooooooo! all day long. Must remember this when we next have scaffold up. Driving me insane.

Sideways rain here today due to the very blustery winds! They woke me up with a start around 2.30am, as I had one of my bedroom windows open a crack and the noise was crazy. The wind has also flattened most of the sunflowers - I may go and pick them tomorrow for a vase.
no exercise today - must try harder over the weekend. Food all good, though. And did loads of paperwork today, so no wasting of time. Also did an info slot/ basic training at CS, where I shall be volunteering on an ad-hoc basis from next month

Apple - Don't know if it's glowing but definitely looking much cleaner and brighter.
Himself decided he wanted rolls and corned beef for his lunch so we went for a walk and got it for him. NSD gone but it didn't cost too much.
Handwashed some tops so that I din't die everything else bright pink.
Apart from that nothing much happening,Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.4 -
Hi everybody just checking in, busy and quite emotional week with going back to work, and going to see my mom next weekend, who now has heart issues.
Have continued to loose weight and debt(unenforceable) so all in all a productive week.
Feel weirdly done with the garden for the year, cheated and bought a calla lily for inside this week, and am finishing tidying weeds in the front.
Need to hack down some more ivy, branches, the wild tomato with no fruits, and a few other things - oh and mow lawn once or twice and then that will be that.
And then when I know a bit more about my income for October, I'll get decorating the hallway/stairs and I am now thinking about painting my walls in colours - after having painted everything white - I think I prefer a colour.
But fist I need to sell a garage full of junk.
Today all I have done is run, cook lunch, take ds out for a drive, attend a sports briefing for ds club sport, and now I'm beat.
Still need to cook late dinner, edit some photos and do some drawings, trawl through harddrives to look for old family photos for an event, pick up ds from a gathering, and possibly take a nap.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

Evening all
Turned out to be a busy day at work in the end, got thrown in right at the deep end with a remand case but I dealt with it and it was way easier than I'd told myself it would be! Must have more confidence in myself.
Changed the hinges on the hallway cupboard doors, absolute nightmare due to the million layers of paint on them but it's done now. Have sanded the bedroom cupboard doors so now they need painting and hinges changed. Looking online for storage ideas for cupboards, think I'll get some of those vacuum bags to put the less used stuff and make some more room. OH has so many clothes and doesn't listen when I tell him no more/get rid of stuff he doesn't wear!
