Morning all,
Piggers that cake is just adorable, your DD is so talented
Round you have done the right thing. I'm not sure why some people, that you have contacted, are grumpy you totally did the right thing by letting everyone know. I do think that some people think this pandemic is over or that it won't affect them.. They should realise that it isn't going away for a long time yet, or at least until there is a vaccine and that absolutely anyone can go down with it and have to do the contact trace thingy, this is why it was brought it. I know it's inconvenient , for those your have told, having to isolate but I wish people would realise that it's for our own good and gods forbid if someone who is unable to shake it off naturally has to be put on a ventilator. Wonder how the inconvenienced people would feel then..
Ooops sorry I'm getting very passionate over this, I think it stems from nearly losing Dave to Covid and even now he is suffering from the side effects - he can't shake off these effects. But then everyone else, who has had it, is also in the same boat...
Valli hope you don't play in and out washing today like you did yesteredayDid you get yesterday's washing dry finally though?
Due to hearing about the bike voucher scheme DH has announced, when we move to Wales next year, we will be getting new bikes and he will even buy me my vintage bike I have my eye on - think Murder She Wrote and the bike she rides in thatSo I don't even have to find the money myself...one happy bunny!!!
Hmm now what did I get done yesterday....
Up early
Breakfasted nice and early too
Meds
Showered, dressed and even washed my hair
Took Banji for a lovely walk while it was still cool
Posted some letters
Made the bed, after airing it for a while
Cooked a new receipe, with all the ingredients, and receipe box, supplied by my veg box farm (including meat). Everything was measured out too so didn't have to faff around finding stuff in the cupboard - very lovely it was too
Washed and hung towel wash out on line, brought in but not folded as it's still in the basket on the top of the dog cage
Checked out difference car insurance prices but decided to stick with my car insurance as they are still cheaper
Signed up to book a gym slot at my spa. Desperately need to go and looking forward to it as there will only be 4 people at a time and very restrictedFunnily how this suits me with my mental health, rather than it being pot luck and hope you don't have anybody there...lol
Messaged my local hairdressers to talk about getting my hair totally grey, with dark grey highlights, and restyled
Wow didn't realise how much I had done until I typed it up.. don't feel so bad now
Ok on to today's shower then walk the dog before it gets too hotMortgage Free as of 20.9.17Declutter challenge 2023, 2024 🏅 🏅⭐️⭐️

Morning xx
oh piggers - thank you for making me laugh (and for the invitation). No head lice here
Of all the people in all the world I had to visit H the day before I lost my ability to taste anything! My phone was ping, ping, ping yesterday evening. She's panicking. I understand. But what can I do - unvisit her?? I had pretty much calmed down but the ping, ping, ping upskittled me again so I've spent half the night breathing and STOPping (to bring the anxiety down). Not anxious that I might have c19 - anxious that H is going to keep pinging me until I get my results I then went to sleep and dreamed that I hadn't fed the rabbit and it had died. I don't have a rabbit!!!!
I think Sweetie has been in touch with Natty as he needs 'mucking out'. Not that he's kept in the bath room, or the study
Round 1
have a shower and get dressed
feed the birds
put out rubbish and recycling
WUDUPA
Just checked the weather forecast - I'll set a towel wash swishing.

Good morning!
I got up and did c25k run 1 week 5, and topped it up to 5k for the Not Parkrun - marginally better time than last week. DD2 and her BF came too. DD2 & I have been waiting at the car for half an hour because her dopey BF got lost!! 😂 She is not happy with him!!
So I have caught up with the thread, and will check bank accounts & emails. When I get home I will have breakfast & shower. I then need to have a sweep up of the garden, clean the patio table & cut the grass. I have a family visiting at 2pm with a view to me looking after their 5 yr old and 5 mth old. We will sit in the garden and go through paperwork etc. In the 'old' days I would hoover the LR & clear clutter in there before a visit, but not any more! 😂
Yesterday I managed to sort through some more paperwork, so the shredder will need to be put to work at some point. I don't think the allotment will get a visit today, so i may spend the day there tomorrow!
Round you did the right thing, and look after yourself. Fingers crossed for a negative result 🤞 Look at it as some bonus time with Weekend Willi!
Have a good day everyone!
Ps DD2 has just found her BF and they are on their way back to the car!7 -
MorningMadness here this morningGoats have escaped from a local area and are on the beach, much to everyone's amusement! gone paddling.Plumber and mate are creating havoc in my bathroom, keep wanting to know where I want the pipes cut off..................I don't know./what do you suggest from a plumbing point of view.........Took car to garage to be fix for re mot test to be told they cannot get parts, so I bring it home and ring the main Honda dealer to be told they cannot get parts either, asked them what they suggest I can do, nothing it seems at the moment, as they cannot 'look up' parts as the system is down, what on earth did people do before computers, they went and physically looked at shelves........they took my number and will ring me in due course, so no car on the road.OH mean while is moaning there is nothing to eat ~ car is off the road, cannot go shopping, there is bread in freezer and milk / cereal. Having told me he wasn't able to take me shopping in his car, it now seems he is free at lunch time, you know I give up at times.Admin stuff being doneI've also put a formal complaint into npower over the meter situation..............Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

My temp appears to have sky rocketed today.. it was just a nose cold yesterday but it's winning today and I have a cupboard to empty and refill and lots of boxes to take upstairs..
I have 2 parcels to package and post.. one for my friend who had a baby a few days ago and an ebeast one.
I need to pair up socks for the holibob packing. I need to finish the girls packing then I can start mine! OH was supposed to be helping yesterday and was as much use as a chocolate teapot!

BF was found! He had passed us while running and we were on our way back. He has no sense of direction and thought he was on his way back & we hadn't turned round, so he kept running! 😂😂 He is a numpty!!
I have had a bacon sandwich & showered. Grass has been cut, 1 load of washing on the line, WM2 is on, patio swept & table cleaned.
DD2 & BF cleaned up after their breakfast, and I have put on the DW. Kitchen looks OK.
I have just had a cuppa & some biscuits and I am going to sort out what paperwork I need for later. I should probably have some lunch before they get here at 2pm - that lost hour has thrown me out a bit now!8 -
Well lo and behold the service engineers are back at work, and will be able to change my pre paid meters in 10 days time!! so worth putting in the complaint, but IMO what a load of BS, I bet they have been back for a while................. anyway fingers crossed they turn up.Shopping done!Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles
