Morning everyone, sorry listy for today wasn't up last night but it is up there now, looking all sparkly and shiny
Didn't get much done yesterday apart from put the washing in the machine, then I only forgot to put the darn thing on...doh!! Dave found my pills in the fridge again..thank gods I have no room in the cupboards to put the milk in otherwise he could find that in them. Although I will admit I have opened the cupboard door to put it in there before catching myself.....lol Oh the joys of menopause brain...
It rained most of the day yesterday so that probably affected my mood hence why I didn't do anything yesterday..lol
When the sun came out in the evening I took the dog for a lovely walk around our park at the end of the road, and also posted a couple of letters that I had written during the day
Today I want to at least do a few things on the list - I should set by example shouldn't I seeing as I post them...lol
ASB have a lovely holiday and hope the weather is fine for you

Quite pleased it's the LR - I flung one lot of flowers yesterday into compost and the others need doing. I also rearranged the twigs vase which stand on the corner on the floor so there a mess round that, but the light-up twigs are fanned out nicely, now.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson

Morning xx
Yesterday turned into a blur - coffee at Dad's, then P & S came for a coffee here, then lunch, coffee at ex-colleagues (all SD) - and fell in love with her quails. Mr M delivery arrived and put away, then tea. Just before I went to bed Mr M receipt arrived - been charged for t rolls which I did order, but which were not delivered. Online form completed and email sent. That ( combined with a chat with Dad which revealed that my brother was planned (Mum always insisted that we were both mistakes - just me then) and a sudden horror that I'm going to be SIXTY in 36 days - where did that come from?) churned me up so I had to calm myself down before I went to sleep. At 2.30 am I shot out of bed to see if it was clear enough for me to see the comet...still not dark enough when I went to bed at ten and must have been on my mind. Then I had to get back to sleep again - I did consider posting a wave to any other members of WAC at that point. You were not alone!
I am up, washed and dressed, breakfasted and lunch is packed. Birds will be fed. I put out the recycling before I went to bed last night.
Paid stuff beckons. I don't want to go.
Oh and the masks that should have arrived on Saturday haven't! I'll see if Mr Postie delivers them today - if not that's another email that I need to ping.
Trying to remember that feeling of contentment that I enjoyed at the weekend. Purple latex bubble going on.
Rxx

Good morning
DH shuffled off early to work, so I stayed in bed with my book for a while. Came down to find the kitchen was a pit, so I put a cuppa on to brew and WULTD, wiped sides and windowledges, emptied dw and put plates etc away, put a load of washing on, shoved a piece of bread in the toaster as DH had not got the milk yesterday as promised so not enough for tea and cereal, and folded yesterday’s now dry washing.
I think that means that I have managed level 1 from yesterday - yay! So today is going to be LR and DR (making the most of DH being out of his “office” pit for the day) plus mop the kitchen floor. Plus a dash to the village shop for milk, and 2 phone calls to make ☹️.
Washing just finished, so I will hang that out now, then crack on with the duster.
Have a lovely day all x7 -
Morning all. Had another lie in. So far today I have made another face mask.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.9 -
Good morning!
Paid stuff today, so I will potter if I get the chance. I have walked the dog, poo picked in the garden and swept the kitchen floor. I need to check the bank accounts and emails and empty the DW.
Little man has just arrived - and he is grumpy! Oh the joys of 2 year olds!
Narc0 to be fair it is a new PR (only held 3 events before lockdown) so most of the runners were registered elsewhere. I changed mine the other week, so was my first NPR there. I might change it back because I feel a bit conspicuous all alone!!
Have a good day everyone!

and it's back in...
ironically I can see blue skies out of the dining room window...but grey out of the kitchen window which is the direction the weather usually comes from...I've forgotten the word.

Grey here now too, but I have just put a 2nd load in, so the weather had better buck its ideas up.
Downstairs dusted, swept and mopped. Mats bashed outside and allowed back in. Kitchen bin emptied and cleaned, rubbish made it to the dustbin before the dustmen came. Vacuum cleaner now sucks like mad after a clean out, so much so that I seem to have taken a wodge off the top of the (very worn out, inherited when we moved in here) DR (super status RoD, within our HoD) carpet. Whoops 😊. Might mean that room moves up the Rooms To Gut list, but more than likely not.Still to do:
downstairs loo
shop for milk
phone calls x2
dreaded paperwork, quickly becoming a frog of huge proportions.8
