I'm home!
I've been sent home to self-isolate for 14 days as I can't taste anything. I still have my sense of smell and I feel fine. I'm to be swabbed on Saturday (results take 48 hours) and if that comes back negative I can go back to work but until then 'go home and stay home'. I'm wondering if I should have just kept my mouth shut! But I didn't and here I am.
Masks still haven't arrived so an email has been pinged to ask 'where's my stuff?'.
I'm all upside down now. Going to eat my packed lunch then write myself a list to be getting on with.
I feel guilty when I'm off sick even when I feel awful, so this is messing with my head a bit.

Round, look upon it as protecting your colleagues. You were quite right not to keep your mouth shut! Relax as much as you can, knowing that you are in the right place. Will this have consequences for your DS and his GF's movements? xx
Sounds like it's all go chez kazwookie!
Yesterday I brought home all the toys from Toddler Group, binned quite a lot sorted and cleaned the remainder, delivered a toddler's trike to a local charity that supports young families, checked the jigsaws, and mended the lift on a toy garage. This morning I piled almost everything into a large trolley, courtesy of Mr T, and delivered them to the Barnardo's shop next door to Mr T - which is where most of the toys came from originally - so the charity gets the benefit twice over. Thanked Mr T by spending a small amount of money in his store
The only big toy I have left now is a beautiful cow, which I shall put on EeeByGumTree. I won it (brand new) a few months ago in a prize draw, it's only been out to play a couple of times, and since they cost ££ I might as well try to sell it and put the money to good use. I would have given the cow to my little goddaughter, but they live in a tiny house. Instead I've kept the wooden railway and village for her and her brother.
I must hoover all through downstairs before lunch... Catch up later!

sunny AGAIN now
I really want it to dry on the line - my two housecoats have been washed (I have a fluffy one and a lighter one for summer) - I can get away without ironing either of them then

My Quote button doesn't seem to want to work, but I have done all the jobs off my list, plus s&s bathrooms and drop DD into small town, to be picked up later as the bus takes an age, going through all the villages. Waiting for my Nice Mum badge. I didn't properly clean the bathroom, as it was only an excuse to put off the paperwork. So now I am home alone for probably only the 2nd time since March, no more excuses - it is paperwork for an hour, then I will finish making the masks that I started on Sunday. After I have had some lunch, of course 😉.
Round, of course you did the right thing, don’t fret x
Iona, that cow is adorable! Very sad about the toddler group folding though.8 -
Iona.. we had the mouse like your cow... these adored it but the cat used it as a scratching post so I had to bin it.. and upset everyone! I bough my grandpink one too because she loved ours so much.
DW emptied and filledI need to dangle out laundry but I may boss OH to do that because I am mean.. I need to crack on with packing for next week too.I really need charity shops to be open reliably.. they are so hit and miss as the older volunteers aren't allowed to work..
I need to sort the girls birthday presents for next week and sort cake for when we get back, courtesy of DD1. She made DD2 one for last Sunday..
Girls are fed.. OH is fed.. I had an apple... OH is just letting his dad know we got Squeaks birthday present and I am dragging him up the stairs.... we WILL get the packing done!

I've done quite a bit, admin, s&sd bathrooms, swept downstairs floors, ironed a couple of shirts, walked dogs, done dailies, some work on a craft project and I'm now knitting.Spend less now, work less later.9

Afternoon all
Following along and flying off listy for me, dailies done this morning, plus swished over kitchen, utility room, downstairs loo and en suite.
Just finishing up with the paid stuff, I have two phone calls to make to finish off from my admin day yesterday, then I’m going to spend a little more time on tidying the office.
WM x 1 done, I didn’t trust the weather to stay dry while I was in meetings all afternoon so I left it in the conservatory, will fling it out on the line for an hour once I’m done with work.
Echoing others round to say you have done exactly the right thing, don’t fret x
bye for now x7 -

hall/stairs/DR were cleaned at the end of last week so fine for now, plus DD is on the phones so I can't vacuum on the stairs or upstairs. But kitchen cleaned and washing brought in (again) but dry this time.
