Quick update all:
PDUK have e-mailed me to say whilst they wanted to respond within 4 weeks they are still investigating but will have their final response within the 8 week period.
As they are completely ignoring some people I would suggest they keep bombarding them as they clearly do respond eventually!
Lending Stream sill no final response after their 'goodwill gesture'
Nothing from Wonga, Quickquid or CFO.
Keep going folks0 -
My stuff seems to have hit a brick wall at the minute. The PDL's who upheld my complaints directly did so months ago. The rest are with the FOS. Not heard anything from them in a while, which is upsetting as I was expecting a few of them to be resolved this week.
This is the new PPI and the FOS is not prepared. The FOS has gone from expecting complaints to be resolved within 2 weeks to 12 weeks since I started this process.
I made first contact with the PDLs on 20th October. 14 complaints have been raised. 5 have been resolved (4 directly with the PDL - 1 by the FOS).
I've recovered over £3k so far so its been worth it, but its really dragging now and I can't wait for it all to be over.
As a recovering Gambling Addict these outstanding complaints feel like outstanding bets which I'm waiting to see if they come in or not. Its not healthy as it feels like my addiction has switched from checking sports results to checking my email for contact from the FOS. God knows what will happen when I've got nothing to be looking out for. Maybe I'll be able to concentrate on something for longer than 15 seconds.0 -
The delaying tactics from QQ , PDUK and others is shocking. The FOS are doing nothing to speed up the process as there is nothing they can do to force the PDL to complete and resolve complaints in the 8 week timescale. Just have to keep plugging away folks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!0

Wow wow wow this thread is going on and on..........well done delete33 your doing a sterling job........never thought when I started this off it would keep running and running...... just had a knock back myself after 9 weeks from pounds to pocket so I will be getting in contact with the FOS tomorrow, that I think is my last one to be sorted will be touching the 10k mark if this one goes my way, a big well done to everyone just having a quick flick through this thread shows that the PDL companies must have paid back hundreds of thousands, brings a massive smile to my face.0

Been a good week for me so far!!
Lending Stream agreed to write off loan - I'm happy with that and accepted.
Pounds to Pocket came back and offered to write off loan (£297.40) plus give me £200 for distress. That's only £89.32 less than the interest that I paid to them, so I think I will accept that one.
Monkey Dosh complaint has gone to the FOS.
Waiting on the others!LBM March 2013 DFD August 2016

My first complaint hit the 8 week mark yesterday and received the final response from 247 Moneybox rejecting my complaint.
One interesting thing they included were figures they say I provided in the application (genuinely cannot remember if I did):
netpay = 1247
Mortgage/rent = 250
Credit commitments = 550
Other outgoings = 100
Free cashflow: £347
Loan amount advanced: £150
Is there an argument that these figures are weird (low rent, low outgoings, high credit commitments) and should have been investigated before providing the loan? Or even just saying £550 in credit commitments already shows financial difficulty in itself!

Little update from me.
Background, marriage breakup during 2013, went off the rails, borrowing left, right, and ere hole, drinking a lot, you get the picture.
3 loans with mr lender over a 12 month period, loans rolled over 3/4 times, around £2000 in capital and interest repaid.
Mr lender dismissed complaint within 1hour of submission !!!
FOS involved, found in my favour, refund of interest paid, plus simple interest at 8%, stand to get around £1000 back !!!

Actually I have calculated it wrong! I forgot to take into account what I have been paying off via my DMP for Pounds to Pocket. Loan amount £2550, paid back so far £3404.88, left to pay £297.40. They replied saying it was their final response:
"A thorough review of your account has determined that we followed all our processes and conducted a creditworthiness and affordability assessment on each credit application and extension. Therefore, we do not agree with your complaint for the reasons stated.
However, we pride ourselves on looking after our customers by attempting to resolve any issues in a straightforward, efficient and amicable manner. Having taken all your comments on board and as a gesture of goodwill and without prejudice, we would like to make you an offer that we believe is fair and honest."
So that's £1152.28 in interest that I have paid, so they are offering £657.88 less than the interest paid. Should I forward to the FOS? Or take the money? I'm worried that the FOS will find in their favour and then I will still be stuck having to pay the £297.40 that is left.LBM March 2013 DFD August 2016

Hi I'm new to these forums and have been following this thread for about a month with interest. I've had various payday loans in the past over a period of 2 years or so when I was struggling financially and so turned to payday lending as couldn't get credit anywhere else. I've made a list of all the payday lenders I could remember (I don't have my bank statements going back that far), and last week I've bitten the bullet and emailed them all for statements of account. Should I wait to get all statements back before I put in my complaint email? So I can get the true picture of what loans I had when, or should I complain to each one as they reply with the statements of account? Just wondering what everyone else did? This thread is so amazing to read I really hope I can recoup a little bit back it would be amazing if I did. Thanks :wave::wave::wave::wave::wave:1P Challenge #1 £1.71/£667.95
