  • I would imagine that FOS would be less than impressed that you agreed in writing not to take it further but have done so anyway. I'm no legal expert but I'd assume this would constitute a breach of contract.

Just ignore the offer unless you are happy with the amount, go to the FOS. Last chance for QQ and PDUK to get back to me as the 8 weeks are up, I will complete my application to the FOS on Monday.

Hi illegally_blonde, escalate your claim to the FOS, PD Express are toying with you. They will most likely reject your claim after another 6 weeks. Nobody has been successful with PDUK, QQ and PD Express without the help of the FOS.
  • 8 weeks is up today with Wonga, i'll give them until Wednesday before escalating to FOS as i'm too busy to do it just now! :rotfl:

There are some promising posts on DC, QQ and PDUK ordered to pay out by the FOS.
  • Pounds to Pocket offered me £300. Paid over £2k in interest so declined and asked them if they could improve their offer before I escalate to the ombudsman. Not heard anything back since last week but will chase them today.

I chased QuickQuid for their last response as it was their last day to respond last Monday. According to them they had until the end of the week but the bank holidays have rolled it over to today. Still nothing but about to send off another chaser. Hoping for them to offer me something. I'll just accept with them as it wasn't so bad.

Wonga have also asked for another 4 weeks to investigate. Throughout the whole ordeal they have been the most responsive and also are where I spent most of my money. Really hoping to settle with them directly.

The ombudsman didn't uphold my complaint with Lending Stream - I didn't list all my outgoings on my application but they were there on the credit report. I also borrowed about £1200 that month leading up to the loan with lending stream Fairly upset about that as I don't have a copy of the application form as they are all online and they haven't provided it to me to review myself. At least they got saddled with a £550 fee! Worried about how the ombudsman will review any other complaints I have as I don't remember any of the other companies even asking that many questions about my other outgoings. I really don't see the point of a credit report if they are going to lean so heavily on solely the application form. "Yes I have a million pounds a month spare - don't worry about my credit report though, I know it says I have £20K of debt to over 5 lenders but it's fine."

LadderLoans no longer exist and I have been emailed to say that my complaint against them is being investigated and will be returned in the usual 8 weeks. I think that is up in the next week or so.

All in all, a little glimmer of a result with Pounds to Pocket but nothing that I would be happy to settle for.

Take it as it comes, I am frustrated with QQ and PDUK, I will have to escalate to the FOS if no response this week, it is week 8 ????????

    Hi all

My refund from QQ has arrived today 2 weeks after the FO contacted me to say they had made an offer. I still have 247moneybox and PDUK with the FO and have not had any updates from them about these 2 companies as yet, when I get any news I will let you know.
