I've sent emails to Sunny (which frankly if the Ombudsman has to see if I have a feeling they will not be amused with Sunny for what they've done- and I have proof) Lending Stream with a copy of my Experian credit file politely telling them to take a hike and I want the interest back and the loans writing off; and a slightly narked email to WDA who refuse to provide the account info until they issue the Final Response (sneaky. Very sneaky....)
Let's see what happens next I'm actually enjoying this now

Good luck with WDA. They appear to have taken the commercial decision to be as obstructive to the FOS as possible. These scumbags need a monstrous fine to make them realise that they are not bigger than the society on which they feed. Arrogant cowards.

Considering the first reply Vivus sent me, they have now come back acknowledged my complaint and asked for copies of credit files/bank statements to help them decide the outcome. They have also said they'll reimburse for any costs. Their customer service compared to wonga (who still haven't given me an update) is way better.

Hi Boatdweller, Wonga are snowed under as they are one of the best PDL at resolving complaints, just be patient. Have a Beer and relax:beer:

A couple of bank statements should suffice, this is all the FOS ask for anyway. Credit file copies should be easy to print I think. Soon be at the end game with some CASH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:cool:

Hi this thread is a lifesaver !! I am trying to reclaim from various payday loan companies. I'm ashamed to say we got into trouble with them and just totting up between 2008 and present we have paid 7,700 in interest to QQ

What sort of percentage of interest are people asking to be refunded ?

I have put a complaint letter into QQ and am awaiting my details from Wonga and Sunny

They knew we were having difficulties and still continued to lend, so in my opinion it was irresponsible lending.

Hi moley1507, Not sure what people are asking for. I am not asking for a specific figure, however I do have a figure in mind that I would settle for. Its up to you really, what would you accept from a PDL as compensation. If your not happy with the PDL Final Response, tell them you are escalating your claim to the FOS. Give the PDL at least 8 weeks from the start of your complaint once the PDL gives a First response.
