Any evidence you can give in favour of your complaint would help, take a look at DebtCamel. There are posts on there regarding LS.0

Many thanks again. I still have to email Sunny as well so I'll have a proper look on DebtCamel later before I compose an email to Lending Stream. I could be in for the long haul I think as my most rolled over loans were Money Shop, PDUK and Payday Express*The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.200 -
Hi Mrs Ryan I agree, LS tend to be very approachable going by the posts I have read on DC, PDUK etc not so good and Moneyshop seem approachable. See how it goes, you never know you may be refunded.0

Hi All, This thread has been a great help for me. I have a question, hopefully somebody will point me in the right direction.
I have paid around £1000 in interest and fees to Wonga. They have come back today with a settlement offer of £410. Still a decent amount of money however, if I refer this to the FOS could they turn round to me and say, "no you're getting nothing", even after Wonga have offered a settlement ?0 -
Hi dktid, Wonga could withdraw the offer, however if you reply telling them your not happy with their offer and explain why, they may come back with a better offer, worth a try as usually the first offer is low.:cool:0

Wage day advance really are sticking to their guns.
The FOS complaint handler offered her opinion a few weeks ago which would uphold my compliant, however WDA don't accept it and are basically rejecting everything she says.
Their argument is that their T&Cs outlined their credit checking process and that they didn't need to do anything that wasn't in their T&Cs. So basically it is their commercial decision to lend as irresponsibly as they want, and they believe there is nothing that the FOS can do about it. The arrogance, selfishness and greed of this organisation is frightening!
The FOS complaint handler asked me how I would like to proceed in the event that WDA continue to reject her opinion. I said I would like to take it as far as I can with them, which would mean a formal FOS adjudication. The FOS complaint handler seems to be on my side when I speak to her on the phone, but in the back of my mind I think there has to be a reason why WDA are fighting so hard... they must think that they have acted fairly and responsibly. Or they are just trying to be as difficult as possible.
Looking at the statistics on the FOS website, only 30% of complaints raised against WDA have been upheld. Somehow this company is getting away with murder! Lets just hope the tide starts to turn against them.
I believe my case is as clear an example of irresponsible lending as there is. I'll be appalled if they get away with it.0 -

Received a reply from Lending Stream tonight. They claim my credit score was 759!? I had no CCJs or defaults at the time because I was robbing Peter to pay Paul and kept getting more and more into debt. How can I prove my Experian score was not 759!? I have my credit report from Noddle but there is no score. They sold the debt on and they said they won't give me back interest and charges however they will nil the balance (which is about £89). I'm sure I paid a lot more than that in interest but I'll have to check my spreadsheet. Would I have a case to present to the FOS? I did have 13 payday lenders at one time! So how they can say that I had a good credit rating is beyond me!!LBM March 2013 DFD August 2016

Hi Exited, LS are doing this to all complainants, this is their new strategy. They know you can not prove what your credit score was back then. Tell them the loans were unaffordable because of how many and roll over loans, the credit score is not relevant as they can not see your score, this is their own score.:cool:0
