  • I submitted my complaint online and just pasted in what I sent to the companies and their response and explained why I was not satisfied with their response.

If they keep asking for more time you might as well escalate as the FOS are taking a long time to look into these anyway so you might as well get in the queue with them.

I take it they wont stop investigating my complaint even if I escalate it?
  • The successes people are having with these PDL companies are great. I've been in debt for the best part of 10 years and reliant on PDL's for the last 6 years.

Having read information on debt camel, I submitted claims to QuickQuid, Wonga and Sunny in the middle of January. Updates are as follows:

QuickQuid - claim for £6,361. Complaint rejected with a £350 goodwill offer. Referred to ombudsman a week ago.

Wonga - claim for £5,375. 8 weeks up Wednesday. Will refer to FOS if nothing back.

Sunny - claim for approx £1,260. 8 weeks up Thursday. Will refer to FOS if nothing heard.

Looks like I still have a long way to go but hopeful I'll have a positive outcome for at least some of the many loans (50+) I've taken out with these companies.

    Thanks

If anything I would have thought that contact from the ombudsman would hurry them up.

As soon as I referred Wonga to FOS, they came back within 2 days with an offer which was more than I expected even with ombudsman so I accepted it!

Sorry to tag onto this thread, I'm new to all this! I have been successful in claiming back money from Quid market, cheque centre and cash genie, all paid into my bank account after the ombudsman had made the final decision. CFO Lending however are a total nightmare! Back in the beginning of January the ombudsman agreed to a refund of £175, CFO have taken my bank details and they confirmed the amount to be refunded, however shortly after this they advised refund take 6-8 weeks. It has now gone past the 6-8 week cut off point and they have ignored myself and the ombudsmans attempts to contact them.

The ombudsman has advised me they are dealing with another case where CFO have not paid a refund and are ignoring all contact from the ombudsman . I have reported them to the FCA who are currently doing an investigation into CFO. The longer it goes on the less hopeful I am of getting any refund back. I was wondering if anyone else on here is waiting for a refund from CFO, it's almost up to 4months since the ombudsmans decision, and I've tried everything possible to get my money back. It's really getting on my nerves now, do you guys have any advice or is anyone else in a similar situation with them?

    Thanks so much

Apparently this company are telling lots of people they will pay them within 6-8 weeks and then not paying up.

    Hello,

I will update this post with more information. I've just received my Statement of Accounts from WONGA (which took forever). What is my next action?

    - Should I add up all the "interest" fee's in total
    - Do you also add on the "transfer fee" too?

After i've done the total, shall I then reply back to Wonga and explain why I want redress?

    thanks

 Oh my god I feel like I've been forgotten!!! I started all of this almost a year ago, the adjudicator upheld my complaint but Wonga insisted it was looked at by the ombudsman.....that was October last year and I have heard absolutely NOTHING since

It's been quite a few weeks since I visited this thread, although I am genuinely pleased for all of the posters getting their redress I'm getting really frustrated because a lot of them complained months after I did :(

Surely it can't be much longer?!
