There website appears to be down at present.
They are not affiliated to paydayuk though, paydayuk are owned by instant cash loans limited.
MEM are a stand alone company, according to the companies house website.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. Strange.
All my emails regarding loans from 2013/14 have "PaydayUK is a trading name of MEM Consumer Finance Ltd, registered in England and Wales, registration number 04786727, registered address 6th Floor, 77 Gracechurch Street, London, EC3V 0AS." on the bottom.
But emails regarding my complaint have "PaydayUK is a trading name of Instant Cash Loans Limited, registered in England and Wales, Company Number 2685515.
Registered address: 6 Bevis Marks, London EC3A 7BA. "
I went through my bank statements yesterday for the ombudsman and all my PDUK loans were credited by "MEM Consumer Finance" but all the entries on my credit report are "Instant!Cash!Loans!T/A!Payday!Uk"0 -

They've since come back to my second complaint stating that I complained the first time and had 6 months to refer to the Ombudsman basically implying that I now cannot refer to the Ombudsman as my initial complaint was over 6 months ago. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do or is it just tough luck?
Unfortunately if you have complained they made an offer and you didn't take it to the ombudsman or accept their findings I don't think you can re-open the same case once the deadline has passed.£2 Savers Club for 2022 #120 -

I'm confused, what is listed way down somewhere in the small print?
I was just stating that I thought they were the same company which is what my experience/records show.0 -
hi, I have had numerous pay day loans over several years. I have put in the complaints email to them all. some are asking for copies of bank statements. should I send them as for some of these companies that will be over a 3 year period. if I go straight to the ombudsman will I need to send bank statements to them also.0

Hi
Does anyone have an update on current timescale to be allocated to an Ombudsman ? My Adjudicator ruled in my favour with PDUK and Wonga but have been waiting since September and no news on Ombudsman review.
Keep up the good work !0 -

Yes, sorry, was agreeing with you.
It's not made clear that they are one and the same company, which it looks like they are.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
