:T Superb! Gives me a bit of inspiration after I just started this long process. Well done

    Thanks Bilko.

You're right, it's not a quick process but the rewards can be well worth it in the end. I remember saying in one of my first posts I look forward to being able to give advice and help people after everyone else had done the same for me and others so I'm glad it gives you a boost.

Patience really is a virtue with this process so stick at it. Good luck!
  • Thanks for all your tips and advice everyone. I am at the start of the process. I now have full statements of account. £10K in interest and fees over 4 years. Poor credit history, roll overs, top ups, borrow from one to pay another etc etc.

I have now submitted complaints to all of them and await their initial rejection! Hopefully they wont take the full 8 weeks to reject them but I guess I have no choice other than to sit it out and wait if they do.

Thanks everyone and great to read about the successes so far.

Hi MikeMouse, to all who are starting out, be extra Patient and do not give up, you will be rewarded in the end.
  • Hi

So i put my complaint into the FOS last week and this was acknowledged.
But today i have had an email from Wonga saying that they were made aware of complaint by FOS.

Is this typically correct and is it positive or negative?
  • Hi Tony.

I would say it's positive. The FOS have to notify them that they are looking into the complaint, and to request their business file on you. So it is probably standard practice for them to let you know. My Wonga complaint didn't get that far as they made me an offer that I accepted before it was picked up by an adjudicator.

    Good luck with it!
  • Thanks Adamsssss

Wish i had something that straightforward.
    Congrats on your success.

Has anyone gone through Quick Quid and refused to provide a bank statement/payslip as they requested?

  • Tony - Thanks, but they have not all been like that. I guess I got lucky with that one.

BBB - Not sure what stage you are at with your complaint. I sent them what they asked for and they rejected my complaint. FOS adjudicator then upheld four out of the five loans I had with them. I'm pretty sure others have refused to send it and been rejected too so I wouldn't be surprised if it made no difference whatsoever.

Hi BBB, QQ are using every delaying tactic possible, ignore them as they will do to you and the FOS later in the process. Just pass all info onto the FOS adjudicator
