Hi all
Had a settlement offer from QQ and P2P. They both lent to me at the same time even though they are the same company!
QQ Total refund: £1079.82
P2P Total refund: £494.23
Now I am wondering when I should expect my money through??
Accepted and signed the agreement on the 8th August.
Thanks!LBM(2) Jan 2014 - Debt £17500

Hi all,
So Wonga have now responded to my adjudicator with this email.
I borrowed in the region of £10,000 so I'm not happy with this offer.
In people's experience, if I was to decline this, bearing in mind it's their second offer, could I end up with nothing?
Wonga responded late last night. Unfortunately they don’t agree with my recommendations at this moment in time and have sent some further information for me to consider.
They’d also like to put forward an alternative offer to you in order to try and resolve the complaint. They’d like to offer you a refund of the interest and charges added to four separate loans and use this to offset your outstanding balance on your last loan (£325.52). Here are some further details;
· total refund of interest and charges of four loans £428.02; plus
· 8% simple interest per annum £66.92 (after tax deduction of £16.73); minus
· outstanding balance on last loan £325.52
· total settlement £169.42
Thanks.

Hi all,
I'm getting a little bit ahead of myself here, but it's 6 weeks tomorrow that I sent my complaint off to Wonga. A week after I sent my complaint, they replied to acknowledge it and stated that it could take up to 8 weeks from the date of their e-mail to get an answer:
"We endeavour to issue you with a comprehensive final response as soon as possible; however, this can take up to 8 weeks from the date of this email."
Just wanted to check - do I need to wait 8 weeks from the date of their e-mail or is it 8 weeks from the date of my complaint? I thought it was the latter?
Cheers!0 -
HI Hollip0p.
I believe it's 8 weeks from the date of their acknowledgement. After the 8 weeks they may ask for another 6 weeks, at which point most then forward their complaint to FOS.0 -
Has anyone actually had any luck with WDA? :T0

Got into trouble with Safety Net Credit. Borrowed £13,959.10 over a 2 year period. Repaid £17,664.46
Currently paying them back £1,100 at £2 per week.
Sent off an email to them and they offered to wipe the balance.
Declined as I want compensation. They repeatedly increased my credit line due to funds coming into my account from other lenders! The funds coming in to repay Safetynet credit etc!
last 6 months of hell with them. Setting my alarm for 12.20am so that I could catch my wages and move them into another account before they took them all as had become the norm.0 -
Thoughts on 24/7 Moneybox folks?
Borrowed £3534 from them over 3 years - 13 loans.
Paid £ 1287.66 to them in interest.
They've come back to me offering to wipe the outstanding debt (£400) that I currently pay them back at £2 per week and remove any defaults from my credit file.
I've gone back saying I need compensation and asked for £900. Will see what they offer if anything!0 -
Was actually quite disappointed to see I only had one loan from Mr Lender today - I borrowed £157 and it cost me £67.48 (what was I thinking?!) There is a part of me tempted to complain to them anyway considering my credit score was already shot to ribbons by this point, with PDL's flying all over the place, just to see if they offer anything. I wouldn't take it to any further though. Has anyone had any success doing this?0
