Ring them up and give them some grief!
It seems as though it's all the biggest lenders are the ones that drag their heels and make life as awkward as possible, like they have a reputation to maintain. You'd think they would be easier to deal with.
The three that I have had refunds off so far have been pretty good in dealing with me to their credit.0 -
Hi adamsssss, I said from the beginning if the likes of QQ and PDUK had just settled the complaints straight away without FOS involvement, then it would have disapeared of the radar and forums such as MSE and DebtCamel.
These PDL tried to be clever and they thought by ignoring customers and placing barriers in our way we would give up and go away. They have misjudged People Power and it will cost them dearly, some will and have gone out of business. All down to bad Management and greed.:cool:0 -
As we say in the office - Perfect planning prevents p!ss poor performance!
My adjudicator for my QQ complaint has said I will likely hear from him early next week. I was first contacted by him on Monday this week so fairly quick so far. I sense this is just the beginning though depending on how much QQ drag their heels.
Only had 5 loans from them but considering the first one was rolled over 5 times and I then reloaned the same day as finally paying it off I'm hopeful of a positive outcome, considering a couple of them were for around 75% of my salary at the time let alone disposable income!0 -
Received an email from QQ this morning thanking me for my payment. They must have written my balance off as I was still making payments via my DMP. Nothing else received yet. I logged into my account and all loan history deleted but in big red writing they encouraged me to apply for another loan. really!?LBM March 2013 DFD August 2016

So I am just about to start this journey - I have read the entire thread and just have a couple of questions. It looks like it's getting a bit more tricky as the months go on but I'm ready!
I have got from my Clearview credit report that I had 9 running almost simultaneously- Wonga, MyJar, P2P, QQ, Sunny, Pixie, MrLender, PDUk, Swift Sterling (before the buyout and my details have disappeared so I've emailed the previous owners northway)
For some that I have statements of already I have collated the interest and charges. But others, I don't have so I have emailed asking for SOA's. Is it worth doing this to gather the evidence or am I likely to see things disappearing?
My online banking statements only go back a year (haven't changed banks though). Would it be wise to print off ALL my credit reports from when I started with the PDL's to the present day? It will take some doing with all the red dots but I'm prepared to put the work in!
Thank you very much to all the contributors so far, it's been so helpful reading.0 -
So my FOS journey begins today. Wonga, QQ and PaydayExpress. I'm sending off my complaints to the FOS by email tonight after fine tuning them, any advice appreciated. I have focused on the repetitive borrowing and included my bank statements and credit report to prove how deep I was in ! How long are FOS taking just now to get acknowledgment of complaint ? And is it correct the adjudicators decisions is taking around 12 weeks ? I have plenty of time :-)
Thanks for all your help so far :-)0
