Yes I agree again with Ginger.Ice, well said Sir. I am hoping that the FCA take away QQ and PDUK licences to trade as they are nothing but complete and utter thieves who disregard customers and the FOS.:eek:0
-
Ginger - what was the main points in your complaint!? I'm trying my credit report/score that I'm on a DMP and they let me take out 5-6 loans after each other which caused hardship!?
I'll certainly forward onto the FOS I'm in maternity leave so once the baby is asleep I'll get writing.0 -
I can only speak from my experience as I don't know enough about your situation, although suspect it will be similar.
I was also in a DMP and this left my credit file littered with defaults and other stuff. I suggested that if a lender had done a credit check they should have seen I was in financial difficulty and clearly not lent to me. However, if they hide behind the fact that they don't need to do a full credit check (such as companies like Satsuma and WDA), then I looked for reasons why I thought they should have been more thorough.
Frequent/ rapid application and roll-overs suggest to me that someone is struggling, and as such the lender should conduct more checks before issuing subsequent loans. If they continued lending to you without doing the extra checks then they are not acting upon the limited information they do have which suggests you are/ were reliant on Short Term Loans.0 -
The adjudicator has provided his opinion on my complaint against Satsuma today. He has upheld the complaint (although has given the lender time to respond). I really wasn't really expecting this one to go my way, because Satsuma always hide behind the fact that they do not need to do full credit checks.
Apparently Satsuma provided the adjudicator with none of the information that he had requested and have not even been in touch with him, therefore he based his judgement on their final response to me, my credit file, and my bank statements. I suspect that now the adjudicator has upheld the complaint, they will issue something in response.
So far I have had complaints upheld against the following companies:
Wage Day Advance
Wonga
Lending Stream
Sunny
Money Boat
Uncle Buck
Quick Quid
Pounds to Pocket
247 Money Box
Satsuma
If you have ever had loans with any of these scumbags... raise a complaint. They will incur a £550 FOS charge, and there is a very good chance you'll get a refund of the interest/fees you paid them.
Get complaining and lets give these horrible organisations what they deserve!!!0 -
The adjudicator gave quick quid until today to respond to them in relation of my loans...
Quickquid haven't responded, so what's the next step ?0 -
Quick update -paydayexpress and paydayuk have agreed to pay me £50 compensation each for not responding to me within 8 weeks. I haven't had the info I requested about my loans with them and one has emailed to state they don't agree with my complaint (the one I have yet to make as they never gave me the info). The other has to respond.
I have put in a complaint to the ombudsman which has been assigned about satsuma as they asked for a subject access request whch I did (paid them the £10) then failed to respond. No idea where this one will go.
The adjudicator for my Quickquid/P2P complaint is waiting for some last minute information but has basically said my complaint won't be upheld. I have sent back an email disputing his reasons - he mentions that I repaid loans early I countered that I took another loan out within a very short period each time indicating the loan was unaffordable. I took these loans in the same time period I took Wonga loans out so I think at some point someone should have been concerned about all the credit I had. If its not withheld I shall take it to the ombudsman. Bit disappointed as I thought Quickquid and Wonga were my strongest complaints.
Lastly I have just paid off my final peachy loan - I didn't want to make a complaint while I was on a repayment plan and I feel kind of cheeky complaining after they reduced my interest etc for a few months. I think I will just bite the bullet and go for it.
Fingers crossed my adjudicator changes his mind.

Hi MARKOS, I have now been asked to supply Credit report and Bank Statements to my Adjudicator at the FOS, what stage are you at now????0
-
Hi
Does anyone know what happens if the pdl company, in my case Casheuronet does not reply by the date the adjudicator has given? Would he give them extra time?!?0 -
Usually the PDL is given a little more time, then if nothing the Adjudicator gives a decision without the PDL replying.0

Thanks Delete
Adjudicator has requested all interest be refunded and given them 2 weeks to respond but I won't hold my breath that they will even reply0
