CIVIL ENFORCEMENT taking me to court!

it is still not clear how I should send documents as letter from court just said send! it did not say how?
I have asked them to confirm how but as yet have not responded.
so to be safe I will take take them as not too far away. but will email to claimant?
does that sound ok? in the absence of anything else.
this all bad enough, but this should be simple enough to get right.
so much time,is it wort it, but suppose that is what they rely on. To put people off.0 -
I'd email the court too, because if the Judge is working from home they can be copied your documents electronically. With lockdown, you can't be sure whether there'll be any physical capacity to handle a paper bundle. It could sit in a letterbox for a month. COVID has changed attitudes to email submissions - much more flexibility and pragmatism. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Not really , covid19 has changed things a lot , where email has become more acceptable whereas it was normally paper in the past
In Manchester the court website has details on submitting documents , electronically and in person
Due to your undecidedness , do both imho
Email a bundle to the court , plus drop it in as well
Email the claimant or their solicitors , details are on the claim form , plus post the bundle from the post office counter with a free certificate of posting
In other words , cover all bases , not that we think you should , but to calm your doubts

If you'd read any other recent thread, you'd know this is done by email to court and claimant now, due to Covid.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

sorry to be such a pain, but I do not read other posts, except where referred or I would be on here all day.
I really appreciate your help and guidance; so informative.and you have the experience.
Will get it all done, as best I can and email it out this week.
eventually, will let you know how I got on; worth a try.
They really are parasites, punitive and arbitrary but obviously it works for them and they must make money or they would not do it.
thanks again.1 -
OK, but how about reading other CEL ones, like the court report I wrote about my experience when lay repping for @Old_Bird_65 because that sort of thread will tell you what court is like by video, if you end up with a CVP hearing. It was a CEL case.
Phone hearings are not great but what you must NOT agree to is if the court writes asking if you will agree to a 'hearing on the papers' in your absence.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

No one would expect you to read every thread from start to finish every day, but the more you read the more confident you feel and the more chance of successfully defending your claim. Just follow a few threads with similarities to your e.g same PPC, same stage, similar circumstances - it will help.
