I'm near Leeds and Bradford, but Skipton is do-able and if they are er, better equipped to deal with this lot then I could go there.
So basically I just wait until they take me to court then? I think that's what the latest letter implies - pay up or that's what they'll do.

With all due respect, It's ok some randoms on an internet forum saying do it, I doubt you'll be paying the costs and fines if it goes against me!

There isn't an implication in how they word it is there? As said earlier it's a parking charge, not a fine. They are basically telling you when you go there that it's £100 to stop or park.

that is their interpretation , but only a judge can settle the dispute , in court , so yes its "Take me to court and prove what you say before I will pay you a goddamn penny !!"

if you dont want us randoms to advise you, feel free to go your own way (as Fleetwood Mac sang)

personally I would do what the randoms who have been here for 5 to 10 years advise, but you must do as you see fit, its your problem , not ours, so no , none of us will pay a penny towards your case, win or lose

    your case , your problem

its not about being better equipped , its about experience and knowledge and the way some judges handle these pcn cases

you came here for free advice, and some good hearted people have done that , including me, you arent the first and wont be the last with an airport issue , this saga goes back at least 7 years or more and the long term "randoms" on here are fully acquainted wth the sc@m atr several airports by VCS and others, starting with Liverpool airport, then Doncaster, then East Midlands and Southend etc

its been posted about hundreds of times on here, with the same advise, same messages

try reading the UKPPO saga for over twenty people that banded together on whatsapp for the Newcastle airport sc@m , is the same sc@m, they all got sorted out in the end

Has anyone had their day in court and got away with it though? I looked through some previous before posting, but couldn't see anything exactly like mine. They were all a long time ago too, often things change.

There is no need to get all uppity about it, I did clearly write 'with respect'. There is no end of rubbish spouted on the internet so you can not blame a sensible person questioning the validity of anything, especially when I have no idea who i'm conversing with.
It does say on someones signature "Please note, we are not a legal advice forum."
    Shall we move on?

    moving on , with respect

we want YOU to question the validity of the VCS claim , in court , either civil court or magistrates court

if you choose to contest jurisdiction when an MCOL is received and pay the  £100 then do so and ask for your money back too, because airport land issues should be in the magistrates court within 6 months, so let a magistrates court decide or the claimant withdraw, as in the UKPPO claim I pointed you at earlier

however, if you choose to not contest jurisdiction then fight it in civil court in Leeds or Bradford or wherever you choose, as can be seen in those EMA threads I pointed you towards, plus as seen in the vast majority of the UKPPO Newcastle airport claims in that UKPPO whatsapp group thread

rolling over and paying sc@mmers is not what anyone comes here for, or advises either

checkout the number of posts people have made in this forum and their length of time on here and daily posting rate by all means, but as you rightly say , treat those who are respected here, with respect , which include every respected member that has replied in this thread , every one of them has experience , long time here , knowledgeable and so is respected here , definitely not randoms with just a few posts
