The MB and the EA both called me to tell me about the valuation too. Try checking in with your broker or estate agent if you're not sure whether it's been arranged yet or not

What was your wait between the valuation and your offer being received? Were looking to port our current mortgage with a gift from my mum to bridge the difference between whats outstanding on our mortgage and the property we're buying but we're on tenterhooks as we don't know if we should start cracking on with the solicitors/get excited

Received a down valuation today. Now waiting to see if vendor will accept the amount.

We received our offer yesterday - on working day 33. To all of you out there with an overdraft showing in the bank statements, don't panic, there is hope! My partner had an overdraft in the first 1.5 months out of the 3 we sent to Nationwide, which was our main concern during this long waiting period.

The valuation was booked on the 17th for the 29th. Valuation took place on the 29th and had the valuation and mortgage offer texts within about 5 minutes of each other
Some peoples' cases on this thread look like they're getting underwritten after the valuation, but ours had obviously been done before it. For reference, mine was FTB 90% LTV joint application.

30/08 - valuation rescheduled 
27/08 - valuation rescheduled Again
27/08 - text received "valuation report received"
Wait and chase MB, he calls and tells us we have passed full assessment. 
We wait until he calls and tell us we will def receive an offer by 23/09
23/09 comes and goes. 
We chase MB he tells us NW need further docs (which I'd already sent on the 24/08). He uploads on the 25/08 and tells us he'll chase the following monday. 
Monday comes and we hear nothing. MB says he'll call NW. 
30/09 MB tells us he's spoken to NW who says all documents have been satisfied and an offer will be issued today. 
Today has come and gone and still no offer! Argh! 🤯

How frustrating! The good thing is they wouldn’t say an offer was coming if it wasn’t so at least you know you’ve passed their assessment. Not to give you false hope but some have commented on this site to say they have received text messages on Saturday so you may get one tomorrow. Fingers crossed
