  • Working day 38! 😭

    11/08 - application received
    18/08 - valuation booked

    27/08 - valuation rescheduled Again
27/08 - text received "valuation report received"
Wait and chase MB, he calls and tells us we have passed full assessment.
We wait until he calls and tell us we will def receive an offer by 23/09
    23/09 comes and goes.
We chase MB he tells us NW need further docs (which I'd already sent on the 24/08). He uploads on the 25/08 and tells us he'll chase the following monday.
Monday comes and we hear nothing. MB says he'll call NW.
30/09 MB tells us he's spoken to NW who says all documents have been satisfied and an offer will be issued today.
Today has come and gone and still no offer! Argh! 🤯

You can chase nationwide directly to double check

25/09 - Spoke with Nationwide via 'web chat' box on their website and they confirmed our documents hadn't been reviewed yet
27/10 - request for payslips (even though they were provided to our broker at the beginning of the application)
31/10 - Mortgage appointment with Barclays to explore Springboard mortgage options
  • Keep dreaming of our mortgage offer coming through 😭😂

Fingers crossed youve got to hear something! Noticed its now 8 working days to review documents slightly down.

I'm hoping i get an offer towards the back end of the week, although them timescales would mean slipping into next. The roller-coaster ride goes on

Day 37 for us! Found out the only reason we didn't hear back on Friday was because our adviser added a note to our application which pushed us to the back of the queue again.... so infuriating.

    Good luck all!

I feel your frustration. Did you call NW directly? I'm so tempted to call them, but have read on another thread that bypassing the broker and going straight to the lender might confuse things. We're so close to getting an answer, but it still feels like it'll never come!
