Offer issued today! FTB 90%LTV joint application.
I've been following this thread with bated breath for a week or so now, thinking that I wouldn't hear anything for another month because of the timescales they seem to be working on at the moment. My heart goes out to all of you who applied in August and are still waiting!
I've not had a chance to see the valuation as NW have moved so quickly I've not had the documents back from the surveyor yet - fingers crossed there's no downvaluing at play (though I suppose MB probably would've mentioned it if that was the case).
MB says I'll get the offer through post/email from NW rather than from her, is that right? FTB here and I still don't know what I'm doing.
Posting my timeline for others to see:- Full application received: 7/9
- Hard check: 17/9
- Valuation booked: 17/9
- Underwriter assessment: 28/9
- Valuation carried out: 29/9
- Offer received: 29/9

Keeping my fingers and toes crossed for you!
Mortgage broker seems to be on it and as far as I'm aware it came back from the underwriter and was okay other than another prof of deposit they wanted.
I just dont understand why booking the valuation is taking so long! The seller is stressing me out as she wants to be out by the middle of october but it feels like that is going to be impossible!0 -

Hi everyone. I’ve been doing some research on Nationwide’s website tonight and I’ve worked out if we put in another £2,500 into our deposit we’d bring our LTV below 60% and our rate would come down by 0.25%. Is this something our MB should have suggested? Quite frustrating as our application is now submitted so I guess there’s no way of changing it.0
