Hi folks - wow things moved fast today. Just had 3 texts, valuation done, valuation received and the big one - mortgage offer!! Woohoo! 

Timeline for us: 

Nationwide: 75% LTV - 20% HTB, 5% deposit. 

DIP 6/7

Full application 14/8 
Soft credit check 18/8
Valuation booked 2/9

Valuation completed 2/9 
Mortgage offer 2/9. 

Neither of us seem to have any record of any hard searches on our credit records, although maybe they haven’t shown up yet.  

So happy - rooting for those of you who have been waiting a while, seems we have been lucky.

I must have jinxed it! Finally had an email through to say it's now been passed for full assessment! Not that I have a clue as to what that means..... So timescales so far is 12th August application submitted, 2nd September application passed for full assessment!

I'm now starting to get a little worried about my valuation. I had a message (which could've been automated) from Habito saying the report looks good, but never got a follow up fron NW after the report being received, and that was 2 weeks ago

I’m starting to worry too 😂 think I’m going to ring my MA tomorrow as it’s stressing me out so much! Lots of people submitting applications a lot later then me and getting an offer 😭 I could cry!

Congrats to everyone who has received offers.
My MB contacted NW again today as we are on to working day 32. Been promised an update within 24-48 hours!

Ohhhh good luck! Please update us with what they say! I’ve got four of us living out of boxes in one bedroom at my parents, I just want to get in this house!!! 😂😂  
We haven’t even been able to go inside and view the house, that we want to buy without an offer, so we are literally blind buying 😳 Everyone warned me it would be the most stressful thing I’ve ever done 😅

Soooo! Spoke to them and to be fair the person I spoke to was lovely, so even if I wanted to get mad I couldn’t.. she said my last document was vetted yesterday and now with the final underwriters, so I should have my offer close of business Monday 7th! We shall see.. another weekend of this 😩 

Oh wow! As if you’ve not seen inside your house! You’re brave! Suppose sometimes you just need to follow your gut!

I had unfortunate news this morning - Nationwide have declined the property (so they must have scheduled a viewing without me knowing) due to it being still in large ex-council ownership. So back to the drawing board for me! Good luck to everyone else!
