Hi everyone,
Here is an update on our application:
11/5 DIP referred
11/5 Soft credit search on both applicants
12/5 DIP accepted
24/5 Offer accepted on property
25/5 Full application done
26/5 Text/Email to say valuation booked for 15/06
04/6 Hard check carried out on both applicant
06/6 Soft check carried out on both applicant
06/6 Additional information was requested about current tenancy situation
15/06 Physical evaluation carried out and came back as satisfactory
Our MA said our income has also been reviewed and we are waiting for NW to review the note uploaded by our MA on 6th June regarding our current residency status . Apparently it will take them 13 days to review a case note!!!!!! Now we are sitting here finger crossed for an offer!!!!0 -
Are you meant to get confirmation that they have accepted the valuation? Ours was done on 4 May and had a text confirming they’d received it but nothing afterwards. I know it’s fine as we paid for a homebuyers survey so have seen the value agrees but just don’t want something else to delay this any longer!0

@RobinRed007, I asked my broker to check weather it has been accepted or not. However, there were a few people here who received a text/email confirming their valuation has been accepted. maybe if you apply without a broker they would contact you directly, not sure though!!!!0

I'm getting really nervous now. I need the mortgage to buy my exes share of my home, so he can buy a house and finally move out. He's been a bit of an a-hole through the entire process, didn't even tell me he'd offered on a house for ages and then just expected me to pluck the money out of the air when he was ready for it. Anyway, he's got the hump because his mortgage offer expires next month, and I still don't have my offer. My broker thinks I'll hear early this week, but as they requested bank statements 1 week ago, I think it's going to be at least another week isn't it?
I really, really hate this process. I was reading some of the other threads on here and other banks are taking less than a week 😭 I so regret going with NW 😫Debt was £15,903 😬 Now £2718.14 £0 😲🥳0 -
@GreenCat80, totally understand what you are going through and hope you hear the good news soon. Just remember we can't control what they are doing on the background! your broker should be able to check the process on NW online portal to see if they have reviewed your docs or not, then you might be able to make some assumption based on NW timeline here: https://www.nationwide-intermediary.co.uk/placing-business/service-updates1

Hi everyone,
Been lurking on this thread while our application is ongoing. We applied directly with NW
18/05 DIP
07/06 Meeting with MA
07/06 Mortgage Application began
11/06 Hard credit checks
13/06 Valuation
How long typically have people waited for the 'we have received your valuation' text? It's been a week today since we had the valuation and have heard nothing despite chasing 😫 feeling so anxious!0 -
We never received a text regarding valuation as they didn’t submit it properly 🙄 it was done on the 23rd may! Only submitted it properly on 17th June. Luckily it wasn’t devalued and was all ok. Have seen lots of people get their valuation back quickly with no issues, so hopefully you’ll be the same!1

Quick question...does anyone know whether its worthwhile calling nationwide myself for an update even though we are using a broker. I just feel so cut off, we dont get any txts from nationwide only the valuation one which was done & dusted a month ago! Broker just keeps saying the docs should be looked at soon. Im literally losing my mind as our moving date could be 2 wks fri if this hurrys up!!😫0
