Our mortgage offer has been issued today. Received text message from NW at 9:50am. MB has been in touch already to confirm everything is in order. I’m still in shock, I was not expecting anything before the 23rd. 

Good luck to all of you still waiting. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you.

Hi all, our mortgage offer issued today - after 8 gruelling weeks! Seeing as we are both self employed, this feels like a huge victory. I never thought any lender would touch us!

Our timeline is below:
07/04/22 DIP referred
11/04/22 Offer accepted on property
11/04/22 DIP accepted
21/04/22 Mortgage application submitted
28/04/22 Valuation 
10/05/22 Valuation accepted
11/05/22 - 16/05/22 requested documents several times, each time being referred to underwriter
17/06/22 Mortgage offer 

I think we must have one of of the longest timelines. It's been one of the most stressful experiences of my life, for sure.

Massive good luck for everyone still waiting. This forum has kept me sane!

Thats amazing news to everyone thats had their offers! Its reassuring to hear that they are coming through. We're on wk 6 today since mort application so fingers crossed not long now....just another agonising weekend to go through again. Does anyone know if they process any on a sat? Or if they send out offers on a sat? Clinging onto anything right now😖😬

@pianotime123 I completely understand... It's the most agonising wait ever! Ours was week 9 but fraught with complications over self employed/employed figures and wanted lots of proof of funds for deposit etc. Hopefully yours will go through soon!

I saw that people had written earlier in the thread that offers were issued on the weekend (I think one said Saturday evening). Keep us updated!!

I thought our timeline was pretty good and straightforward, however, we’ve just had to push back our move in date from 7th to 21st July. Our buyers need a little more time to process their mortgage application having been asked for some additional information - their lender?.. Nationwide. 

It’s no major hassle because the house we are purchasing is lying empty as the owner is in a care home. I also have 7 weeks off work and the 21st is in week 3 so again no major hassle. 

Just want the get this purchase over the line.

We were told last week on an admin error on our application! This has now been sorted. It was the valuation that hadn’t been submitted. Heard back today that valuation all approved and ok. So fingers crossed for an offer text over the next few days.
