    Hi, just thought I would post as a bit of reassurance! I’m a FTB and decided to go for the 95% mortgage product with Nationwide. I used a broker which made everything very easy - my full mortgage application was submitted on 18/06, valuation booked for 22/06 and received my mortgage offer on 25/06.. only took a week!

    I didn’t receive an update from nationwide regarding the valuation until the 25/06, when I received 2 texts one after the other stating that the valuation report had been received, then approved. Exactly 3 hours later I received a text saying my offer had been issued :)

    I was getting a little worried reading on here as it seems most people think the lending is stricter on the higher LTV’s, but thankfully all went ok. Really impressed with the timescales though! I nearly booked my HB survey with NW, but I didn’t want to delay getting my mortgage offer so went independently for that (which is next week).

    Wishing you lots of luck and hope that you hear soon!! :)

    Hi Guys
    Here our time line. We are using a broker to remortgage from one lender to Nationwide. I think the broker is being optimistic with the value of the house to try and push it under the 75% LTV bracket:
    23rd June supplied all docs to broker
    24th June text received application received
    27th June soft credit search credit karma
    28th June call to book valuation on 14th July
    4th July hard search credit karma

    If they reject our valuation and come in under, what's the likely options?

    Re-mortgaged Oct 2021 £385459 Originally ends Oct 2049
    MFW 22 - 2385/3830
    Current daily interest 16.22
    Current end date Jul 2049

    Valuation review took the longest:

    16 Jun  - Lender full app appointment
    17 Jun  - AIP updated and full application submitted;
    17 Jun  - Valuation booked for 22 Jun;
    22 Jun  - Valuation (surveyor in house for 20 mins...surprised it took so long);
    5 July  - Text received to say valuation report under review;
    5 mins later...  - Text to say mortgage offer granted and will be posted out (woohoo).

    Puzzled why we haven’t had a credit search done or notification of search though??

    Congratulations!

    For the credit searches, are you signed up to a report for all 3 main credit agencies (Experian, Transunion & Equifax)? The search will only appear on the report for the relevant agency, so if you only had a report alert through Experian, for example, and they searched using Transunion you wouldn't be alerted to it. Not that it matters now though!

    @E_D_FTB thank you, not registered with them all. I won’t challenge though! Good luck with the rest of the process - looks like a few other timelines above might come through this week.

    Afternoon All,

    FTB 90% LTV in Northern Ireland applying directly to Nationwide. Progress so far:

    26th May: DIP accepted
    23rd June: Offer accepted
    24th June: Full application submitted
    5th July: Email received to say mortgage application approved

    I still have not received an update regarding the valuation or survey (full building survey), so assuming the application has been approved subject to valuation; Has anyone else experienced this and am I correct?

    Many thanks,
    R
