Not that I am aware of, both my partner and I are employed. The only thing I think it could be is that I’m classed as FTB as I was being added to the new mortgage?

Quick update to say - I've received a mortgage offer this morning, it is working day 12.
They only asked for 1x payslip when I applied and then questioned a deduction on the payslip ("is this going to be a regular deduction?") and requested another payslip. I advised no it would not be a regular deduction as it was a payroll error, and sent another payslip. Took about 5 working days each time to review my documents. No special circumstances, first time buyer, sole applicant, only debt is student loan, applied directly rather than through a broker.
So relieved and keeping my fingers crossed that answers start coming through for everyone else waiting, particularly those where it has been dragging on and on.1 -

Today I was sent a copy of the email they sent to my solicitor on Saturday. So yes, we have our mortgage offer! Now we just need to get the conveyancing done, which has barely progressed since we instructed our solicitor on the 12th of October, due to the extreme slowness of our seller’s conveyancers. Good luck to everyone else still waiting!tigerlily74 said:
Nothing arrived in the post so we rang them today and apparently it was approved on the 20th and so the letter will be sent out today and we will get it on 5-7 days. Every time we ring them nothing seems to have happened for days and then they do some chasing and come up with a new update. Fingers crossed it comes through soon.tigerlily74 said:Well we were told today our application was approved on the 12th of November, and we should expect the offer on writing by the 24th.We had to apply through a ‘manual process’ as we are redeeming our mortgage, then porting it within 189 days. As a result we have had no texts and no way to track without calling the complex case team.
2nd October AIP
9th October offer accepted
12th October booked application appointment
26th October Application Appointment
28th October Valuation (we assume desktop)
9th November Valuation flagged with assessment team as it has been missed and we chased
12th November Application marked as Approved for Manual OfferIt’s a big relief but I won’t relax til I get the letter and they release the funds really.0 -
Did anyone find out what post offer assessment was?0

We were never told we were at this stage, so I’m afraid not.eeag1987 said:Did anyone find out what post offer assessment was?0
