we’re on week 9 now so another few days won’t make a difference I guess, that’s if there are no issues 🤣0 -

I have been following this thread for the last 2 months, my mortgage was also with Nationwide and waited 15 working days to Offer, bearing in mind I didn't recieve the 'valuation approval text' , only the one to say Mortgage application received and Valuation recieved. Hope it helps0 -

So angry that we are only hearing this now when the valuation took place Oct 1st!!!Has the homebuyers survey come back with anything that will give you some wiggle room?0

Well my application was submitted on 13th and I posted here asking if having a valuation instructed means my application is approved pending application.
It would somewhat appear that in my case it was. I called nationwide today and the girl told me my case has been looked at and all thats left to do is the valuation.
My first reserved property was downvalued by nationwide and because I have a 3 year old settled ccj I was struggling to find another lender so in the end I had to find another property. Which as it turns out is a better house
I'm very nervous about the valuation but its looking positive for the mortgage itself!!! Fingers crossed12.11 Reserved Property

Will do! Worth ringing the mortgage update line if you haven't already, it was the only way I got anything out of Nationwide, the mortgage consultant rarely replied to my emails, and when she did it was always in a rude "how dare you bother me" kind of manner...
9 working days from application to offer! Better deal than Nationwide too, will never use Nationwide again.
