Planning permission for uPVC windows have only just started to be granted on our building because of listed status. What can we as residents do to jump on these grants? Will upgrades to old wonky boilers be enough? Can an upgrade to a wonky boiler work ???0

Nothing here Rev, several suppliers have expressed an interest in doing work, but can't confirm they are on the list of preferred traders. Wait and see seems to be the game.1

Site seems to have gone live but makes you download and get quotes to submit for voucher.1

And it links to the Simple Energy Advice (SEA) site here for applications https://www.simpleenergyadvice.org.uk/pages/green-homes-grant
But this is only preliminary stuff - it walks you through what you might be eligible for and then tries to make an outline downloadable Plan for you - but the 'Plan' I got included stuff I'd excluded and omitted things I'd included, so I think they have a few Gremlins in their website.
And the Plan does nothing in itself - you have to contact traders who have registered for the scheme to take things further - get quotes and then apply for vouchers (from end September apparently)0 -

I'm finding this very confusing. When I looked earlier, it seemed to be implied that you need an independent 'green assessment' in the first instance. Now it seems to be saying choose what you want done, get some quotes, apply for the voucher and then get the work done. Any ideas?!May'18 DEBT FREE!

How do I apply?
You can apply for a voucher from the end of September 2020. Before you apply, you can use the tool below to:
- Check if you’re eligible for a voucher
- Check what improvements may be suitable for your home
- Choose which improvements you would like and see an estimate of how much they may cost
- Find accredited tradespeople to get quotes from to carry out the work
More information on how to apply for a voucher will be made available on GOV.UK in due course.
