Brilliant news on the card offer. It's a bit like a game of chess planning your next move. My first 0% deal runs out in August and already I'm trying to plan how to shift it to another.

Sounds great. How much would that leave on the high interest account? How long is the 0% on the High interest for. Only thing I would say is if you are going to move to the 0% with high interest and still making overpayments for the debt that has interest on it might be worth ringing up to make the overpayments to make sure if comes off the interest charging debt first.*Dad loan - £5300 - £7300

On the card with the high interest (card 1)there is 2,095.23 on 23.95% and just under 4k on 0% until Jan 22. I am moving the 2,095.23 to the new card (card 2) which will be 0% for 14 months.
I then have another card (card 3) like the above although slightly lower rate so will move the balance being charged interest to the one i move 2,095.23 off (card 2)and that will just leave the 0% balance on that.
That way i should change card 1,2 and 3 all to 0% interest and then it will just be card 4 charging interest which is 17.18%LBM Debt Total : £48,326.50

All my balance transfers have been done and complete
I will wait for the next lot of statements to come out before I set my payments for them then once that is done I can chuck everything else at the one bearing interest and hopefully that will be paid off before I have to do this all over again. I will set them for just a little bit over the minimum so I don't get them persistent debt letters.
I got my water bill and that DD will go down by £4 a month in April so that will help a little.
Just done the last weekly shop before I get paid again and just within budget so I am happy with that. I have loads of money left in the petrol budget so when I get paid I will use that to chuck at the debt too.LBM Debt Total : £48,326.50

Hi all, it has been a very long and exhausting couple of months so i haven't had the energy to be online much.
It has also been expensive as we had a family bereavement so we had the associated costs with that. I have used some of my emergency fund for that so it hasn't impacted the debts in too much of a negative way (normally I would have used a credit card) .
I suppose I will have to top up the EF but there is still £500 left so I am not that bothered at the moment.
The only thing i have managed to do to help with the debt is do another balance transfer so all the debt bar about 2k is on 0%.
I have also re-done my budget to incorporate the inflation of some bills which wasn't too bad , i also received a tiny payrise at work which is better than nothing so i am happy about that.
I also signed up for a free online course which i was in the middle of when our family member died but they agreed to extend the deadline. It isn't too much work but i have struggled to concentrate with it.LBM Debt Total : £48,326.50

I have had a really rubbish couple of days and have tried to make myself feel better by buying stuff i don't need.
They are going to either be sent back or used as presents for upcoming birthdays.
Payday today so I have spent this morning sorting the budget out for the month, losing concentration and then starting again.
One of the clubs my daughters attended pre covid isn't re-starting again, well it is but it is at a time that clashes with something else so that will save me £20 a month which i can send straight to the debt.
We had £75.72 left of the grocery & petrol budget from last month so that has gone straight into my debt overpayment pot in starling.

I really need to write in here more often, it will keep me more focused and will stop me buying things i do not need.
I have got the credit card statements for this month which is the first month where they are all on the interest free period after moving it all around. I have changed some fixed payments and after these months payments i will have paid off 1 credit card in full and that payment was £200 a month.
With the card being paid off and the changing of fixed payments i am going to have at least £370 a month to chuck at the next credit card. I haven't worked out which one i will pay off next but it will probably be the one that will have the highest rate when the 0% finishes. I think that is what the stoozing calculator tells me to pay off anyway.LBM Debt Total : £48,326.50

Life has been so busy, work is crazy and i feel like i never get a break. I really need to be productive with my time and make sure i get some down time to clear my head.
I spoke to my boss at the end of last week and he told me i was getting a bonus which is great especially as it will give me the funds to pay off the next credit card in full. I am not sure if it will come in this months wages or next but i am getting a letter so that will confirm it.
