OH BOY ..... CST STILL DON'T GET IT
It is amazing that the SRA let them lose on the public ???

The BPA code of practice saying debt collector charges can be added is just CLOUD dreaming invented by a "GARY" BOD, a debt collector and a BPA board member.

And that letter saying they are instructed by DRP, another BPA member, just shows how ignorant they are.

WHEN WILL CST LAW WAKE UP AND UNDERSTAND THAT GOVERNMENT HAS BANNED THESE FAKE ADD-ONS

Feel sorry for Anchor Security Services LTD ... they don't have a clue

They are as thick as pig sh*t!  Much like a mega-budget version of DCBL whose letters they probably copy!  I would ring them up and ask them to explain to me what Parking Eye vs Beavis is and how does it relate to this case and back up the circumstances of their client's parking charge and I'd also ask them for a breakdown of their additional costs and the lawful justification of these spurious add-ons and how do they justify this when the government have banned this practice lambasting it as extortion!?!  I'd ask them if they know what extortion/ demanding money with menaces is and quote the law to them regarding this. I would also ask them if they know what the legal definition of a debt is and tell them what it is and how this is not a debt - then get their response and ask to see the "notice of transfer" and the basics of debt recovery principles does not include "add-on fees" bared on the cost of the debtor etc etc (Plus Parking Charges aren't debts and cannot be sold as such!). I had a conversation with DCBL's rude jumped up little Phone Bully who couldn't answer and got flustered when I called out his company's BS! I took notes of the conversation, his lies, failure to answer of justify "our company's costs" and put it all in my WS!  I also put it to them that Gary from ZZPS openly boasted in a parking industry blog that he invented this scam in order to get more money for him and his clients - because its "Business" and "Business is about money".   Then pointed out that they failed to supply me recordings of this "recorded call" in my SAR.  They cannot back up any of their Bull S**t because it cannot be justified or they don't want to admit to anything they know is wrong.  In the current cost of living crisis more people will be standing up to them as nobody can afford to chuck away £100-160 just for a slight oversight now. Hopefully the worm will turn.

Hopefully you informed them, (or will inform them), of the consequences for failing to provide the recording of the telephone conversation in respect of Section 173(3) of the 2018 DPA;-
(3)It is an offence for a person listed in subsection (4) to alter, deface, block, erase, destroy or conceal information with the intention of preventing disclosure of all or part of the information that the person making the request would have been entitled to receive.

I wasn't aware of this until now.  I think it's time for another SAR as its been over 3 months since they paid my fees. I want a full SAR, Recordings and then a record deletion. If they don't reply with Recordings I'm going to quote this at them. I've logged dates and times I called them (I obvs blocked my numbers when I called them!).
  • Hello everyone!

looking for a little help here. My wife has received a letter in the post today from CST on behalf of DRP on behalf of Euro Car Parks over parking ticket (long story but it’s over £0.50).

Just looking for advice over next steps?

Ignore it. DRP cannot be the claimant as you have no contract with them. Read back through this thread and you'll find many similar cases. Come back on a new thread of your own if you receive a Letter Before Claim from ECP's solicitors or a formal Court Claim from the Northampton CCBC.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

As said above .... DRP are only money scammers and nothing to do with the parking ticket

The question now is do CSTLAW understand the english language about this rubbish or would they prefer a reply in BRAIL ???
  • Hello just sent an email to both smart parking and CST law. Smart for the SAR and CST law asking for the 30 days whilst seeking debt advice.

There was no email address in my letter but I there was an email on some of the same letters posted on here:

    Contact@cstlaw.co.uk.

Just wondered if anyone can verify this email? I have had a quick look on Google but nothing immediately jumps out.

This was all this morning- I'm assuming they have to reply at some point?

  • I sent mine to all three of these addresses back in August 2021. None were bounced back as undelivered.

    dataprotectionofficer@creditstyle.co.uk.

    compliance@creditstyle.co.uk

    info@creditstyle.co.uk

I hope they help. Good luck.

  • Hi all, another LBC from CST law.

    Background:
I stayed at a independent hotel for the night. The hotels car park was monitored by smart parking. The validation machine in the hotel was not working and the hotelier took my number plate and assured me all taken off. Couple of weeks later received a fine. Immediately  contacted land owner, they said to send them the letter and they would take care of it.

Thought all taken off but several months later continued to receive letters from DRP. Ignored them and now have LBC from CST law. Have contacted the hotel / land owner who is useless and no longer wants to know.

I have requested a SAR from smart parking and written to CST stating:
    - I am pursuing legal advice,
    - requested sar
    - why the unlawful £70
    - no contracts with DRP for payment.

What can I do next given the uncooperative land owner?
