Thankyou! I did read that but I wasn't sure if it applied in our case as ours isn't the same letter. Ours states 'Letter before Claim' and not 'debt reminder'. It also came with a reply form and something called Annex 1 information sheet and Annex 2 standard financial statement. Is the advice to obtain the SAR and just wait? I am really sorry if it's obvious. I just need reassurance (Anxiety is a real drag!) :-)

CST form appears to be
No claim follows for single tickets
Claim follows for multiple tickets.
Although this is subject to change6 -

As that appears to be a compliant Letter Before Claim, you should also respond to it as described in the second post of the NEWBIES thread.3 -
ok, CTS have added a fake £60 and that means they are scamming you. That taints their claim which is abuse of process.
You must reply to the LBA but you do not fill out any forms. You say they have taken a picture of your wife and of course she was not driving.
Passengers are not subject to parking regulations. Please do not tell us who was driving
Ask CST what is their legal authority to add the fake £60 ? THEY DON;T HAVE ANY and let's see what rubbish they come back with4 -
Ok so I send a 'Subject Access Request' using the template to the email address provided on the Smart Parking website.
The next part I'm not so sure about? I'm supposed to reply but to who?Is this the part I should be following?
As well as the SAR to the parking firm's DPO, also write another email, if they are using Gladstones, DCLegal, BW Legal or other solicitor.
Your email tells the solicitor:
(a) I am seeking debt advice but I deny any debt and the case must be put 'on hold' for not less than 30 days under the PAP for debt claims 2017.
(b) I have sent your client a SAR and have insufficient information, to date.
(c) also confirm your correct 'address for service' (especially if you've moved and they've traced you & might revert back to an old address).
In my case is the 'solicitor' CTS Law?
Do I send the above email to thier address provided on the letter?
P.S. The address they have sent all correspondence to is actually incorrect (It's my address and my son moved out long before the parking ticket was issued but did not transfer the adress on his car I assume? should I now give them his correct address?)

You reply to the sender of the LBA which is CTS Law. The SAR is to Smart parking2

The address they have sent all correspondence to is actually incorrect (It's my address and my son moved out long before the parking ticket was issued but did not transfer the adress on his car I assume? should I now give them his correct address? You can't answer letters addressed to your son, unless you mean you are emailing as 'your son' with his permission? Your son, if he is named on these letters, must send a SAR to the DPO of the parking firm as well as a DATA RECTIFICATION NOTICE - NEW ADDRESS FOR SERVICE telling them to erase the old address and rectify their data to show the only address for service is (his new address).
And he must tell the DPO as well, that if the SAR is posted then it MUST go to the correct new address, but preferably the SAR results and images should be sent by email to him, please. He will need to append proof that he is who he says he is (the data subject) such as a utility bill showing his name at the new address (NOT HIS DRIVING LICENCE OR PASSPORT FOR OBVIOUS REASONS).
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Just to add we just received the exact same letter as yelloworange dated the 18th June (so a full three weeks after the letter date). How can they get away with that?! We'll be sending a SAR to Smart Parking and response to CST now.0

Dear All, Again thank you for the advice. I have been reading all the threads and post from others. I noticed others have posted the letters they received. I have done the same below, for completeness and so it’s in one place for all to see. Looking again at my letter (see attached). The date is like others well in the past so giving you little time to respond. Also is this letter really a LBC- sorry if I am being a bit slow.
I will also send a 'Subject Access Request' using the template to the email address provided on the Smart Parking website.
Then write to CST and tell them
a) I am seeking debt advice but I deny any debt and the case must be put 'on hold' for not less than 30 days under the PAP for debt claims 2017.
(b) I have sent their client a SAR and have insufficient information, to date. When writing to CST do I mention I am awaiting the SAR information, before I comment?
I will of course approach the land owner and the MP.
