  • Hope your windows are looking nice Taxi, I'd love new windows down stairs and french doors. One day..............

Sure the tiredness will pass, have you tried making some smoothies up to give you a bit of an energy boost whilst you are getting withdrawal symptons? I got some frozen ones from Tescos you just add juice to and whizz them up when I have a sweet tooth and feel a bit lethargic, seem to work.

Thank you for pm by the way :D

Just a quick note to say well done for taking action and good luck :)
  • Sounds great, could really do with having our conservatory ( lean to !! ) re-done, but as we really want to move, don't want to spend the money on it as I doubt I'd get it back, all depends on this stupid mortgage thing that's going on & now, whether hubby can re-apply for his secondment to the RFA (more money), or if not, we will have to stay put, if that's the case I may get it done!
Getting very fed up with him being away, he's been gone since begining of Feb & not back til end May if then!
I might get a friends builder to give me a quote, worth knowing how much we are looking at I suppose, though I'm so loathed to spend money these days, turned into a right skinflint:p

    Hi everyone,
Thanks Adzha...how are you doing?..have you still stopped?...good luck to you also.
Kizzy I agree it's so hard to know what to do isn't it?..this credit crunch has sure unnerved a lot of people.I'm staying put and riding the storm at the moment and luckily have already done my re-mortgage and it being a lifetime tracker will not have to think about it now...
It's hard your OH being away and depending whether you want a bigger house or other things sometimes we have to chase the money but it doesn't make it any easier at the end of the day.
    Hugs from here xx

The trouble with me is that I want it all!! the money & to have my husband here, I know that's not possible, just wish I could be satisfied with my lot. Perhaps I will be when he's back. What's wrong with me? I should be happy now I've paid the debt off - perhaps I just need another goal to aim for

    Morning all,
Sorry i wasn't about last night as we went out to eat as we couldn't be bothered cooking!!!..we had an all you can eat buffet and it wasn't bad value and you got a desert ....I had chocolate gateaux..it was all yummy...and only £8.90 each but the drinks were dear £3.75 glass of wine and £3.00 pint of lager but it was a change to go out and I had my winnings after all...I had kangaroo and zebra!!!!
Am going back to work tomorrow as today I have loads of stuff to do.
Kizzy it must be hard missing him...does he like working away?...if he doesn't then if he gets another job he could be on a lot less money...it's so hard....
ISOM...I really do need to make a start on exercise...I have been walking this week instead of using the car anyway so that's a bit...not much I know but a start...
Am going to go fill the car in a minute and pick up the dogs food before the other load of stuff need doing....it's only 7.15 now!!!
