How did you win the £1K Taxi? Missed that. Well done on that - brilliant - and great it allowed you to have a break.0

oooo mizmir, there's a name I haven't seen for a long time. How are you?
Well done on the stopping smoking taxi. It looks like you've knocked it on the head for good now and that will have so many benefits, not just the ££££ but probably add years to your life too.
Glad to hear JJ is coming to stay - hope you have fun. How is he doing? Is his mum over her worries that he was hyperactive?Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620 -

Morning all,
Mizmir the £1k was on a bingo site!!!!..hope you're settling back in here...
Seaxwyn...I think I have managed to get rid of the weed now once and for all.DD has been better since shes gone to work and JJ now goes to nursery 5 days a week 8am -6pm so that calms him down....he gets bored easily as all little ones do...he's alright if he's occupied though...me and him are going to have fun..don't know what we'll be doing yet though but we will do some debt free things maybe ..he's all excited at the moment ...bless him....
Hypno glad to see you back and settling in again.....
Got my virgin card this morning so have activated that and set up the DD for that.
Done my online banking etc...jsut need to pop to the real bank and de;posit some cash there as well....not a lot planned for today so far but all that can change...Have a good day0 -

:hello: hi Seaxwyn! Yes - fell off the wagon for a while- got snowed under at work, stopped coming on here and ....well you know what happens then!
But I am back, determined to crack this debt once and for all and build up a bit extra so that I can give up the all consuming (but well paid!) job to do the thing I really want to do (but which is not well paid!)... Have set myself a goal of summer 2010 to get to that point - but will need to buckle down if I am going to make it.
Oops - sorry Taxi for hijacking your thread! :hello:Morning to you to!0 -
Not a lot to report today as not been up to much!!!...I've been to town and renewed the parking passes and posted the forms off to the Abbey for the passwords to my mortgage account and that is about that...had a mull around Boots but no bargains to be had so am just back and have put a chicken in for tea....had a lovely smoothie while I was out as well at the smoothie bar...not very debt free but delicious.
Still not smoking ..that's 17 days now and £170 saved!!!!!..I'm quite proud of myself for that.
Hope everyone is having a good day x0 -
Hi Taxi
Well done on the not smoking. It is great when you can actually see the financial benefit of something isn't it. A real motivator for when you feel the urge!
chevI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

Thanks you two....I don't feel the urge thankfully and people stink when they pass me..yuck!!!....what was funny the other day was that DH had come downstairs and as he passed me I could actually smell the soap he had used...LOL...I notice all sorts of strange things now..0
