Hi Taxi, glad you enjoyed your buffet sounds yummy:p :drool:
It's only a secondment for 18 months to the RFA ( Royal Navy supply ship ) he will back at his usual job in July, so we are coming to the end:j , this is the longest he's been away, 7 weeks was the longest before.
When he comes home he will drop £13,000 a year :eek: he only went to pay the debt off, I think he enjoys parts of the job ( the money! ), but it's awful being seperated ( money doesn't make up for this! )
He wants to re-apply, but only so that we can move, & if he is able to, this will be the VERY LAST TIME, as it's too much for me with 2 little ones & my job.
It was ok when he was going away for a couple of weeks then back for a weekend, but this is dire. I could never be a wife of someone in the forces.
Ho Hum, it'll soon be over & I'll have him around my feet getting on my nerves & wonder what I was moaning about:rotfl:

You can't win can you..lol...at least you don't have to put up with it too long now then...13k is a big drop as well.

tell me about it! Mind you working families will go up as at the moment only £40 used to get £280, because his money is usually so cr$p!
At least we'll be on cr$p money with no debt this time & I'm working now, don't earn a lot, but it all adds up.

Have just had MBNA(VIRGIN) on the phone to ask if I've got my card yet!!! and of course to try to sell me PPI...so they have just done the BT to my current account ..they said it would be 7-10days but they don't normally take that long....
I got in touch with halifax about paying one of my loans off but they charge extra interest so not much point so will transfer the money into my offset I guess...because I really don't see any point in paying my loans off early.

Hi Everyone..hasn't it been lovely weather today?...haven't bothered posting as I haven't a lot to say really....
Still not smoking and nearly every day is a NSD as I don't go into any shops so not only do I not spend £10 on cigs I also don't buy anything else when I'm in there.
It's been two weeks now and most of the withdrawal symptoms have gone now.I still don't feel 100% but am getting there.
