Sorry Lucielle..you snuck in there...mmmm no I haven't...I'm really bad and this is part of the new me as well ,stop smoking, lose weight,exercise etc etc...would save a fortune giving up.Just find excuses not to but now I'm calmer I will try again.Been thinking about it for the last few weeks.

Quite pleased with myself as have just been doing the figures...I have put £100 into my mortgage offset..paid £20 off BMI and put £20 in emergency savings pot....just dealing with Halifax figures here.I then have £600 in excess of what I need to pay my bills until the end of the month....(that's including when I've banked the weekends money up until tonight)...obviously I'll also have the money from tonight and onwards until the end of the month to add...so should end up way in front.
I also have over £5000 in A+L this is for the yearly car wash...£225....taxi insurance....just over a £1000 I would think and the rest for the offset.
Can't put it in offset yet until my DDs change over to A+L....so all is looking good at the minute...
I really do want to overpay stuff but can't do a lot until eI know which bank it's going to come from IYSWIM.So have to keep money in both at the moment as my DDs come out all days of the month.

Afternoon all..not a lot Bob..lol...
Got up at 3.40am went to work at 5am(don't know why..LOL) worked until 12ish...then filled car,went to bank and then to carwash.I have now got a 12 month pass for 3 car washes a week...so £225 wisely spent that equals £1.44 per wash instead of 5 pound per wash....very MSE.
came home put washing on,emptied bin in kitchen ,had lunch,put pots in to soak..will wash them in a minute.
Checked Halifax account and tried to checked A+L but it's not working and that is it so far.
Need to check for surveys etc but doesn't look like I have any as I've just checked my e-mails.Pigsback I haven't had any clicks for a week!!!!

Seems alot of people are having problems getting onto A&L today there is a thread about it. I opened an A&L (just for the cashback) and I use it as another 'pot' and I have not had any problems with it at all so please don't be worrying about it, it must just be a blip today.

Well done on the yearly carwash thats a bargain, probably much cheaper than doing it yourself I think factoring in the cost of water, cleaner etc and your actual time.

Thanks KM just been reading about other people having problems.Will have to wait and try later...you're right about the carwash..../too dear to buy the stuff and I'm too lazy to do it myself.

I have had a few surveys but in all honesty i couldn't be bothered since i got back from hols and having to make the cake..so will have to get back into it this week.
I made MR.B clean his car last week i think he nearly died of shock!
