Right knocked walking to the shop on the head and instead drove to Morrissons did the shopping and fueled the car.Just put that lot away and am having a brew now.So the only thing left to do is go to bank or post office to put some money in.That can wait until tomorrow if needs be.Just waiting for the surveyor now.

Right Surveyor bloke been and he's checked the roof etc...which he says is in good condition. He says that the water came in because the flashing (think thats what he called it)...joins both slants of the roof together need sand and cement IYSWIM so is not covered by insurance as it would be bettering it.So guess I'll phone my roofer up and see how much that will cost.
got a letter back from Halifax today

You will find enclosed a copy of our leaflet, which tells you how we will handle your complaint.
    Yours Sincerely,

Sorry but I've exhausted complaints already as they weren't interested!!!!...hence why I wrote to the CEO are they stupid or what?

    Hi Guys,
Not a lot going on here (as usual)...was okish at work.Bumped into my roofer earlier and he said he'd try to pop around later. The weather is lovely here so he's probably getting loads of work done before it rains...Hope you've all had a good day x

Complaints dept might take more notice if your letter is forwarded by their own CEO - hope so anyway - keep us posted. Hope the roof work doesn't cost too much.

    Hey :)

Is your roofer good? I have noticed the damp seeping through upstairs and a slight coat of mould has suddenly appeared. ARGHHH!! The last thing I need! So I need to find out what the problem is and then how much it'll cost.

    Hope you've had a good day :)

Hi Mizmir and Sea...Think his secretary or whatever she was knows now as I really gave it to them when I phoned yesterday. There is nothing they could ever to do to have me as a customer again.I told them that I was deadly serious regarding the FSA also.
Funny when I first started talking to her she was saying letters get answered in order by the end she was putting notes on the system saying it was very urgent.
MY whole point to the FSA is regarding unfair conditions...god forbid if I only had a job with a fixed wage!!!..these are the people I'm sticking up for
Basically I have had a £5k O/D for 5 years it was due for review sept 2008...july 10th received letter stating overdraft being reduced to £300 on 23rd July..phoned the number on letter the man said he'd talked to underwriter and agreed to £3000(I even got a letter to that effect and stating next O/D review june 2009)...tuned into online banking and it was £3000..so thought troubles were over.... and everything sorted....log on the 24th and it was down to £300....
Bear in mind that I had £1800 of bills due out between the v27th of the month and 2nd of the next month!!!!
They could have !!!!ed me right up but at least we could work our way out of it....This is what I'm really annoyed about what about poor souls that can't do that.
I have a blemish free credit history and they could have ruined that...I could've had loads of bounced DDs and charges....this is what they do to customers of at least 11 years that have never had a charge....
