You do right to take that complaint forward - it is unfair and they screwed up big time by cutting it after they agreed the revised amount. That would've messed me up completely and most people! And when you have been a customer so long.... madness.

Hi ISOM ,Mizmir and anyone else reading,
It was the agreeing the new one and then cutting it with no notice that killed me...I only had 3 days before the bills were starting to come out.If I'd been in an employed position what could I have done to avoid bank charges ,bounced DDs etc?...this is the point that really upset me.They could have put me under or in a terrible financial position. It was sheer determination and back breaking work that I managed to get all the bills paid and not even touch the £300 overdraft.
I think the FSA need to know about their practices but can't do anything for eight weeks yet.The complaint is a formality to prove that I've gone through their system first. They are so arrogant.
The roof will be done as and when roofer sees fit probably as we all know what tradesmen are like..loljoking as he'll be round when he has time probably.
    Have a good day x

Afternoon everyone... had an alright kind of day on the taxi today....then popped to Lidl to pick up sandwich stuff for the week and juice etc.
Think Lidl is getting expensive now.Not a lot going on here again..I lead such a boring life....rest of the day will be spent doing washing and little jobs around the house.
My aim this week is to make sure I take a packed lunch and flask of tea to work everyday as I spend way too much on lunches every day and non of it healthy.!!!!...6 days a week and at least £4 a day...that can go off a debt or in savings!!!
I really want to lose weight as well so am going to come up with a plan of action this week ..I may even start a new diary as well as this one is getting tired...
Hope everyone has had a good day x

Just by taking lunches you would be saving £100 a month, or £1200 a year!! That is a whopping amount of money you could throw at the debt or use for a holiday!

  • Hi Taxi

Your life doesn't sound boring to me, sounds like mine too.

As for the lunches £4 x 6 days does sound alot. Its a chore though sometimes amking the sandwiches for me, although I do take in things we have had for tea the night before if its suitable (I don't have microwave at work) like pasta or salad. Or I can take soup in a flask and a roll.

Well done on tackling Halifax even though you are outta there you are right to make your point.
