  • Have a good day tomorrow and get something outrageous for yourselves..do you know when i used to work in Blackpool, one of my fav treats was to sit in the cafe above woolies and just stare at the view! But if weather nice, why not go to the lakes for the day?

Hi you two;;;....yes Debenhams opens today but unless they take PO one4all vouchers /boots vouchers or Morrissons vouchers I won't be shopping...but may have a look around ...lol...
Actually if the weather is as bad as it was 5minutes ago I won't be going to town.It was like a monsoon...stopped again for now.
Bob the simple things are always the best aren't they?....Got a couple of jobs to do in town...DH ordered a book about 4 months ago from book shop and they haven't even phoned him yet about it (he's paid for it as well)...am going to see if it's cheaper to buy my meat from the butchers rather than the supermarket and at least from a butcher you can buy the quantaties you want...need to nip to bank..and just other bits and bobs so thought we could have lunch out or something.
If it's pouring down we may have to change our plans but don't know what to..lol...have a good day everyone xx

Hi everyone...had quite a good day today with DH.We went to town and had a look in the new Debenhams and the new shops at Houndshill. They are quite nice but not really any opening offers so didn't buy anything there.Went into Boots and bought " christine Aguilara perfumes for the girls (reduced to £13.50 each) with my boots points.
Had a brew each in a cafe but everywhere was packed so didn't bother having lunch.Town was mad busy (for a change)...
Went to Butchers to get meat for the week, nipped into Iceland for olive oil and a couple more bits ..bread, battered fish and juice...
Spends for today....brews £2.00....butchers £20.00...Iceland £14.00 and car park £2.00....also bought DH 4 cans £2.99 on the way home....so even had change out of the food budget which is £50.00.
Just paid £80.00 off CC and updated my sig....
Was a bit annoyed earlier as the accountants wife phoned and said that she'd had a letter from solicitors requesting our tax returns for the loss of earnings..so guess that will be delayed for a while now.Nothing to hide by showing them to them but why didn't they ask in the first place and they could have had them weeks ago!!!!!
Hope everyone has had a good day xx

Sounds like a great day yesterday - within budget, some debt payment AND relaxing with the olympics! :T Any plans for today? Are you back at work?

Hi ..yes been at work today but it was really really quiet!!!!!....so have been to the Drs to get a prescription as my back is really really sore again.
nothing much to report...the first car payment came out today £451.31 ..luckily it goes down next month to £322.31...so updated my sig.
I eventually got my voucher from Toluna but don't do them anymore as I'm alaways screened out after about 20 questions!!!!
Hope you're all having a good day x

I hope it is busy Mizmir..it really feels that over the last week the recession is starting to bite.Every area has been quiet. It's really strange...
at the end of the day people have uniforms to buy and are maybe on holidays that they booked last year.I guess lots of people haven't been paid yet either.
It's the worst week I've ever had on the cab..
  • It's just that time of year, just think next week will be in full swing as tired out mums bring their offspring out for uniforms, they get fed up of them and drag them into car..then again quiet weeks are always good!
