Cold comfort but at least you know that as an 18 year old driver with a claim like this she's going to have a hellish hike in insurance premium! Hopefully will keep her off the road for a while. Of course if she was joy riding then the police should be involved - but am guessing not as her insurers have accepted responsibility...?

ps taxi - I have a feeling identifying individuals is against board rules so you may want to edit the post - can understand how angry you are though - am guessing she will be blissfully unaware of the grief and pain she has put you through. :mad:

hi taxi, sorry that things are not improving for you and OH. I wish I could wave a magic wand and make it all better.

I have just bought a lottery ticket though....I never normally buy one as my previous track record for winning was zilch, but I have done so today. If I win the jackpot, i will be winging my way over to Blackpool with a brand spanking new car and a cheque for the difference.....

(if only it was that easy in life - sigh!)

Hi everyone...edited it Mizmir...what a nice thought Hypno good luck for the lottery for yourselves..nice thought anyway.
As you can guess DH wasn't best pleased and spent time seeing if he could get a drive for the weekend from anyone but he got a phonecall off a bloke that he could drive for next week as it's impossible to do the insurance over the weekend he basically needed one that had an any driver policy....ahh well...so bought him 4 cans and he's been messing on his computer all night.
Have just ordered an indian takeaway so that will be here shortly..not very MSE but I'm past caring at the moment....whats a bit more debt at the end of the day.

Morning all..just on for a quick mooch before I get on with what I have to do:I've been up since 6am and am just about awake..lol...
Here's my list for today:
Wash the pots....just put them in to saok
Do washing....one lot in dryer..one in washer and a little more to do
Drop subs cheque to office
Start on accounts...todays aim to sort every drawer bag etc and shred file everything and have everything ready to write out....dreading this one!!!!

Just having a brew and then will make a start.See you when I see you..lol..

Also had to buy birthday card while out as it's my sons 27th birthday today..so that is now wrote out with his £30 inside!!!!..he only rings when hes after something ..lol...otherwise he just gets on with his own thing..guess he'll be on the phone later!!!

Just having a brew before starting on accounts...will make a start at 10am and see how much can be done by 12...lol
