well it is all getting there, at least the list is shorter today........
Hope the rain keeps off after the walk to the bank..it is still persisting here!

Not been to the bank yet am going in a minute....the new replacement hire taxi has arrived in blackpool and is in the electrical place to have the radio fitted.I have to get the door stickers and send the bill to the hire company.It should be ready for 4pm and then I'll have to put petrol in it.
Will be glad to get my own new vehicle and then I won't have all this hassle.

Right picked the car up and dropped accounts off at the accountants.Would you believe that the cowboys had delivered it there needing two new tyres and a set of brake pads!!!!!!!...I have put a complaint in to my insurance brokers and the director from the hire firm is due around here at 5.30pm.I have to phone the brokers back in the morning to let them know what he has said tonight but he is completing ignoring my questions regarding loss of earnings.The brokers are really annoyed that all these things are happening and are really looking into it....so it is already to work now.So will have to drive it first to get used to it..roll on the delivery of my new car.Then I won't be having these problems.

The cheeky things, it is essential that the car should be in good working order...can't believe what some companies will do!

Well the director has been round and given us £200 of one4all vouchers and has apologised profusely.He said he is really embarrassed and is going to kick butt so to speak.He has took the collision damage waiver(£950) off the car and has said when he takes possession of the brand new skoda octavias and has pit tested them he will collect this one and change the radio over again and let us drive one of those for as long as needs be even though he won't get a penny for hire once the cheque is sent.
He is really annoyed that this has happened and is not going to charge the insurance company for saturday sunday and today so that we can claim for the loss of earnings from the insurer.So at least he has listened to us and hopefully can resolve the problems within his organisation.
Going to chill out tonight and have a long soak in the bath as my nerves are shot at ....take care xxx

Sorry you've had the hassle Taxi but I'm glad you've been taken seriously and he has admitted fault and compensated you for it, at least that takes the sting out of the 'extra' mess.

Thanks everyone....not going to work today as DH says I've to get used to the car so will go for a drive in a bit.Not a lot happening today as I've just got bits and bobs to do...I'll be back to work in the morning.Have done my surveys etc and checked with the solicitior that we will be able to claim for lossof earnings this weekend and they've confirmed that I can so that's good news.Just waiting for a call back from the insurance broker now and then I can pop out.

Well at least that is better news for you. He sounds like a decent chap, hope you have a breather and a bit of R&R, as they say.
I have only done one survey this morning, and must check up on some other stuff myself.

Been out and filled the car(again).....sorted out the correct stickers and also spoke to the insurance broker and am feeling quite calm today which is good news.Not a lot else happening here but thats how I like it nice and peaceful.
