    Hi Taxi,

Been really busy with my own problems lately but have been lurking to check you're doing ok. Gutted to hear about the crash. At least you are both ok, but its the inconvenience and all the messing around waiting for the payout etc. I too have the extra cover, touch wood I dont need it, but for the extra few quid I don't think I could be without it.

Anyway just wanted to wish you all the best and let you know i was thinking of you.

That sounds more like a party than a focus group! They must really value your opinions. Was it only for taxi drivers? (sorry don't answer if this is too nosy).

    Hi Taxi

I hope Mr Taxi is feeling better! and that you are doing okay as well.

Just a quick question - you know the exam etc you had to do was it purely for Hackney Carriage drivers or Private Hire as well (just thinking about one of the taxi services here and suspecting a load of their drivers would never get through!)

Evening everyone...TODAY HAS BEEN A DISASTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Firstly,I'll answer all your questions above...Bubbles the week is getting worse..more in a minute!!!!..Seaxwyn..no it wasn't for taxi drivers( I was the only one there)..it was for drivers of vauxhalls and chevrolets and the next day was for Saab owners...vauxhall sells all 3 brands. It was quite like a party..highlight of my week..how sad am I?
Dragon...Mr Taxi is feeling a lot better....the exam I took covers both Hackney carriage and private hire drivers....
Will just send this one then add another post xxx

HERE GOES...IF YOU ARE STILL WITH ME!!!!!!!!!!!
Right the day started out ok ......I went to work and it started okish..then I went to meet the engineer who was half an hour late....it is not clear as yet whether the car will be a write off or repaired....he is going to do the costings tomorrow and then phone me..he said because my car is a high value vehicle it is a very close call but seeing as the value is high it may not be written off.To my mind safety is more important than price and I will await his deciscion and take it from there...I am however going to insist that it is repaired at Vauxhall though(as it's my right to choose where)......as if all this tooing and froing isn't bad enough.
DH takes the replacement taxi out tonight..does one job and the window won't go up and the car won't start so after frantic phonecalls this has now been picked up and taken away to be fixed..off course they will pay loss of earnings but still a long wait...I really am getting !!!!ed off now and feel like burning that !!!!!es house down for putting us in this position!!!!!!!!!!!
I feel like I'm losing my marbles here....I have over a grands worth of bills due out on monday..more like 1.5k of bills ....if these problems carry on then I will end up bankrupt....it's bad enough with the credit crunch without all this !!!!....I don't know why I bother being an honest citizen....
    Sorry about the rant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
