I got a phonecall at home the other week.They got my phone number from my garage.It's to do with cars apparently...bit of a sore point(but need the money..lol)....I'm going to tell the woman that I'm available for any she wants doing as they pay you on the night....never been to one before so don't know what to expect.

I hope it goes well! My OH did one a while back about cars and driving, but he only got £25.

Thanks...guess it varies company to company ...I thought it was quite a good payment ..it's for 3 hours...

Wow!! £90 is fab!!

I have never managed to get a focus group job - they don't seem to do them round here, although I get sent loads of requests to go to Manchester or somewhere :rolleyes:

Afternoon everyone..I really enjoyed the focus group is was good fun and I'm more than willing to do anymore that come my way...LOL..
DH went back last night but only managed a couple of hours.He is feeling not too bad but is very nervous driving at the moment.He is trying again tonight.
I have to phone the engineer/ assessor in the morning after 9.30am to see what time he is arriving tomorrow..so may know more tomorrow will keep you all informed.

:wave: OOh I love a good focus group! (as long as it's not too hard to get to) I get to bang on a bit, have coffee and bickies and get paid! I'd do one every day and give up work if I could!

Thanks..this one was great...when we got there we were all bought an alcoholic drink ..then went in a roomwhere there was sandwiches made from proper bread(bloomer) smoked salmon,roast beef and horse radish..tuna etc etc...biscuits, chips and apples also tea and coffeee and posh bottles of water!!!!...we were given £90 as soon as we signed the sheet..then halfway through the meeting we were took in taxis to (a certain place) and then brought back and continued the meeting..as I say it was really fun x
DH is feeling a lot better ,thanks for asking ..he has just gone to work...so we will see what happens next.

That sounds like a brilliant way to earn £90.

Glad your DH is getting back to driving but can't blame him for being nervous at all. Hope he soon gets back on top form.
