I’ve also checked my credit report and can only see an affordability check (soft search) from Santander, again would the hard search be done when setting up the application or day of submitting?

I guess we could ask our broker but I don’t want to pester him as he is very busy! He said that we would hear from him in a few days if they request more documents, but nothing yet!

We applied 26/08 via a broker. Got a text immediately from Santander confirming the application and had a hard and soft search showing on Experian. 

Thank you 😊 that’s good to know. I might follow it up with the broker then as it makes me unsure whether he’s actually submitted the full application yet!

Hello! I've just looked, and we submitted the application via the broker on the 10th of September and received the Santander text the same day.

Hello! I've just looked, and we submitted the application via the broker on the 10th of September and received the Santander text the same day.

Thank you 😊 I’m guessing we should have too then! I just assumed our broker was submitting our application after our appointment last week but maybe not 🤷🏻‍♀️

Great news, congrats!
Do you have you have to have a paid experian account to see searches as I can't see any on mine but I only have the free account with them. I'd sign up but they're not showing on clear score either, not sure how quick they update though. Everyone else seems to see their searches really soon after application and ours was submitted on 30/9

I just signed up to the 30 day trial! I plan to cancel it before but I just wanted to see if I could see the searches! Like I said I can only see the soft search on mine at the moment though.

Hey guys! Money saving experts credit card club use Experian, my hard search came up there pretty soon after. I think it refreshes every week 😀
