Neon Reef - any views?

Just checked and Neon Reef still shown as my supplier. I understand both parties have to agree this was an  erroneous transfer and if they do the supply is past back to the former supplier. However if Symbio are just going to ignore the request the nothing can be resolved. Ok the problem is my own making in the first place but I thought at the time I was just excerising my rights under the cooling off period.

Also NR have already cancelled my dd.

Ouch, this is probably part of the reason why people are advised not to switch when a solr is taking process, then cancelling is making it even more complicated! Probably your safest bet is to just tell neon reef to transfer you across, enjoy the lower prices for however short it may last, then solr across to whoever is your new provider.

So at the moment you are running up a bill with Neon Reef but not paying a DD, they will notice eventually...

In the circumstances you may as well stay with them now and ride it out as long as it lasts.

I would suggest restarting the DD though...

Utility Warehouse is a stalwart and has a diverse and lucrative portfolio courtesy of its MLM pyramid funding, marketing and onboarding structure. For starters, to get its cheapest tariff you have to sign up for their broadband and SIM too. I think they would be able to weather the storm.

I did just that and through their link set up dd again on Thursday of last week but nothing shown on my list of dd's on the nominated bank account as yet.  Also no bank details shown on their app as well.  At least I have tried. In the meantime will just keep the money to one side until such time they request it.

I'm wanting to change the account used for Neon Reef direct debit but cannot see any option anywhere to update it ??

Interesting to note that, as per today's Ofgem bulletin, despite the current climate (pun intended), there are still companies out there applying for energy supply licences, namely Alaska Energy Ltd, registered in Leicester.

@elucidate Having said that, I did notice that Shell recently 'pulled' their linked offers, for such as also taking broadband.
