A bit of advice and information if anyone can help me please ……
We became a NR customer yesterday and they took our first DD yesterday too.
I know the possible risks of them going bust are now getting greater, or at least it seems so.
My problems are that so far I haven’t received a single response to any of the 3 emails I have sent to them, I tried calling them but there’s a recording telling you to use email. I have sent emails to both help@ and compliants@ but no joy.
My SMET 2 smart meter doesn’t work - should I expect it to ?
More concerning though is my main unit Smart meter is reading zero !
How can I supply a meter reading if it says zero - it shouldn’t, we were with EDF before and it was working fine up to overnight Monday just gone.
Any help or advice greatly appreciated.
Cheers
Nobby.
This is the number I called - 0345 8622819 - it’s the only number I have and it’s the one they said to use in the emails that they have sent ( automated, not in response to my emails ! ).
Does anyone have a number that actually gets answered ?Cheers
Nobby.
The only reference I can find to that number in this country is by somone posting it on Trustpilot months ago.SMA 4000TL Inverter, 17 REC 235PE Panels, South facing, roof angle \ `ish, 3995 watt system.Installed Nov 2011.0 -

I got an email from Neon today confirming switch due to happen Friday and first DD taken the same day. I’m inclined not to cancel as can’t see anything material to lose from a monetary perspective. If they go bust then new SOLR tariff won’t be more expensive than Eon Next.Read on one of the threads (can’t recall if related to Symbio going bust or a different one) a suggestion that the SOLR might not apply the new tariff until accounts were fully set up (so poss a few weeks) and that the old supplier’s tariff might be used by the SOLR until that point. Thought unlikely but called Eon earlier to pose the question just in case and they stated that the new Eon tariff would start on 3 Oct when the SOLR was appointed.1

I emailed them this morning about cancelling under the 14 day cooling off period. They were quick in replying and said as the switch was completed on the 11 October this will be treated an an erroneous transfer. They will contact the former supplier and get them to take the supply back and I will be billed by them for the time I was briefly with NR. As I would not owe NR any money I have spoken to my bank and got them to refund the dd payment.3

I never knew Neon Reef even sent a 'Thanks for joining us' email
They do send a 'Welcome to Neon Reef!' email, and that includes their welcome pack. That is in response to you making an application for them to supply you.
The welcome pack includes confirmation of how much your monthly DD will be and when it will be first collected.
But no where in that email or the attached file is there a phone number I can see for Neon Reef.
