Same here, they've cancelled six bills so far. The last one was cancelled over a week ago and not been replaced. I've got 9 months of electricity in my bank waiting for BG and neon to ask for it.

same here, Dec, Jan & Feb bills all gone & states 'bill cancelled & replaced', but no new bill showing. our next scheduled bill is 28th March, possibly multi re-bill then?  very poor that no communication to advise what they're doing.

i'm in the middle of a very lengthy & tedious online chat with BG, they are advising meter reads previous supplied weren't inline & so have been cancelled.  I've explained about being ex NR, but he doesn't seem to want to acknowledge this nor accept this isn't a system glitch & it's not just a coincidence that many ex NR customers have had multiple bills cancelled & no charges rebilled...

he's finally accepted it's an issue, will escalate to get resolved.

This is exactly my situation too. My guess is that may be due to the updating of accounts with any debt owed or credit due from Neon Reef. Though don’t see why this should necessitate all previous bills being cancelled and replaced unless they’ve decided easier to do it this way and just cancel bills and then do one new bill from inception to current that incorporates credit/debt carried across. I have another Elec account with BG that wasn’t transferred from Neon and no cancelled and replaced bills for this account.
  • @brewerdave Right, must get my negotiating head on.
Accepted a goodwill settlement of £100 with BG today. Satisfied.

Now EDF - I know where you live…

Logged in to my BG account today and see they have issued a revised bill yesterday.

I received my first bill from BG on the 3rd March covering: 3 Dec 2021 to 3 Mar 2022 (correct opening read from the 3/12/22)

New Bill 18th March covering: 3 Dec 2021 to 3 Mar 2022 BUT the opening reading is from my last bill from NR on the 21 October 2021

Surely that can't be right as BG was appointed SOLR on the 21 November 2021?

definitely not correct in my opinion, but i had a feeling something like was coming as many of us have had all bills cancelled.

if no customer read was supplied on or around 21.11.21, they should estimate it surely? i presume they've used the current BG tariff to bill from this read of 21.10.21, which can't be correct as NR tariff will apply up to 21.11.21, SoLR effective date.

we've got 465kw units currently not billed for in the gap between NR final bill to 29.10.21 & BG start date of 03.12.21 (ignoring standing charge), if they do the same for us this will mean £20 extra billed at BG tariff rates. Not much individually, but still incorrect & a vast sum in total for numbers of NR customers involved.

BG are making a complete mess of this & just hoping NR customers won't notice??

Yes BG were charging me their rate from the 21/10/21 using a correct reading given to NR. In my view that is not correct.

To be clear I fully expect to pay BG rates from the SOLR date 21/11/21 and I have a reading from this date that I submitted to NR. For the 21/10 to 21/11 should be paid at NR rates.

Any way I managed to get through to BG on chat eventually yesterday and they have amended the reading back to the correct reading for the 3/12 and just waiting for the bill to be produced.

Will see want happens after this.
