Anyone got payment from Neon Reef to BG account? I have some mystery £126 showing on my account BG, which is exactly my credit that was on Neon Reef account. Looks like I wasn't charged for electricity use between 24/09/2021 and whenever it went bust.
There was a mess with meteres, Neon Reef didn't see my current meter, only previous ones. Maybe they decided to let me have free electricity, since sorting it out would cost too much time/money.

Maybe they decided to let me have free electricity, since sorting it out would cost too much time/money.I wouldn't assume that it will be free...If this follows the same pattern as other BG SoLR processes, at some point they are going to reverse any bills they have already sent to you and re-bill from the final meter reading on the NR bill... So if that final reading is below the actual reading on the day your account was transferred, you will end up being charged for that use at BG rates instead of NR rates, so it isn't a good thing to have NR not billing up to the right date or using the right reading from the right meter...

I don't have any bill from Neon Reef, I was with them only 1.5 month. Maybe they will send bill at some point in time, who knows.

StartledJesus said:@roseview No you didn't, that was my statement, and not a criticism. Just cross referencing threads, for information. This is an important principle, and the more posters that know about it and complain, the better.
BG are offering me £100 compensation to cover 4 months of double + (for us ) electricity charges ! That works out at less than a pound a day.
The more ex NeonReef customers who complain to the ombudsman the better.
Its simply not right for them to tell us & email us that we have both a tariff guarantee and a price guarantee until the end of July and then just try to go back on it.SMA 4000TL Inverter, 17 REC 235PE Panels, South facing, roof angle \ `ish, 3995 watt system.Installed Nov 2011.3 -

That's what I have. Also equal to my outstanding credit at NR0

You should have had an email from BG at the same time as that credit going onto your account titled "We've got your Neon Reef Energy credit" explaining the credit being applied.0

Movement on my BG account - but no explanations ! The mystery balance "debit at end of contract" figure has increased by ~ £20 and at the same time the first bill from 1st Feb has been withdrawn.
I can only assume that they are about to incorporate either the NR debit or the missing days debit or perhaps both !!0 -
I expect email in couple of days. With PfP it came a few days after I read about credit on the forum and saw it on my account.
